## What is Northbreaker?

Northbreaker turns direction into an instrument you want to use.

EXPRESSIVE INSTRUMENTS

Choose from twenty-three designs across seven distinct compass forms, from a classic rotating card to wireframe, sonar, orrery, and three illustrated ink plates.

FIELD TOOLS

Save places and bearings, steer toward a destination, switch between magnetic, true, and grid north, read your coordinates and elevation, use the spirit level, count a pace, or sight a landmark with the camera.

THREE NORTHS

Use magnetic north, true north when a geographic reference is available, or grid north for map work. A manual declination setting helps match printed maps.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

There is no account, advertising, analytics, tracking, or developer-operated cloud service. Settings and saved marks stay on your device. Location, motion, camera, and clipboard access are optional and used for the features that need them.
