Сегодня лететь в Мурманск, наблюдать Северное сияние. Но приложение не запускается вообще. Вылетает моментально. Войти внутрь не могу. Удалял и переустанавливал - толку ноль. ВЕРНИТЕ ДЕНЬГИ. ### 1/5 — Does not account for local weather forecast *2021-01-26, version 1.0.5* This app sends alerts even when local skies are 100% overcast. Such a disappointment. ### 1/5 — Nicht kaufen! Abzocke! *2020-02-17* Diese App ist ihr Geld nicht wert. Eigentlich ist sie vom Funktionsumfang identisch wie viele andere gratis Apps nur eben hübsch präsentiert. Dabei funktioniert sie nicht mal richtig. Auch nach Abschalten erhält man weiterhin Pushnachrichten und Orte lassen sich nicht mehr entfernen/hinzufügen. **Developer response:** Hallo! The map display doesn’t match (at all) the aurora forecast. ### 1/5 — Very Basic, Very Inaccurate *2023-12-30* I was hopeful for this app as I have a lot of Aurora guests who need an easy way to get an idea of activity. Unfortunately this is simply an app version of multiple websites available for free. The few parts that aren’t just “borrowed” from the web or other sources are misleading and inaccurate at best. Also, I need to read instructions on how to use this app. I wasted my $4.99! ### 1/5 — Visibility Not Accurate *2022-02-11, version 1.0.7* I live on Shetland and I don’t expect a viewing of the aurora every night but when an app says 70% chance of visibility at the horizon and you live ten feet from a view of the ocean and have a house facing the horizon ya kinda think; cool, grab th camera and expect to see a little something? Nope. Stood in my garden for about an hour with my phone and very worthy camera which I’m more than capable of using but no northern lights for me. It’s basically nr1 thing you need to plan a vacation in the first place. ### 5/5 — Chose location *2020-02-12, version 1.0.3* I purchased this app as I am going to Norway to hopefully see the Northern lights. It would be very useful to be able to choose my location, then I could monitor for the next few weeks what has been happening where I WILL be, to help give me a good statistical probability of what might happen when I am actually there. UPDATE: The developer has advised me that locations can be selected by pressing the icon to the right of the present location - this allows you to store alternative locations - I can now now see at a glance the data for my whole trip to Norway. Absolutely brilliant!! Would highly recommend this app And a special thank you to the developer for taking the time to respond to my initial review ### 5/5 — Great app if you want to see Aurora, AAA+++ *2019-12-30* Easy navigation, you don't need to have scientific knowledge to catch the Aurora. If you can't watched in your location, you can see on hundreds webcam around the world. Thank you for your understanding and continued trust in our app. ### 3/5 — Need to Fix Alerts *2023-01-22, version 1.0.9* Alerts turned off in settings and still constantly getting alert notifications. ### 3/5 — I cannot add other locations!!! *2022-02-27* I gave the app three stars cause I’m giving the benefit of doubt for an upcoming trip to Iceland that I have soon to hunt the aurora. However, my problem with this app so far is that it doesn’t have any options to add custom locations to monitor the aurora forecast in said locations. ### 2/5 — I find this app unfriendly to use. Aurora Alerts was easier until the location search didn’t work. *2025-04-17* I received many alerts from this app, but not really for my location and I have never really been able to use the app. ### 2/5 — Annoying Alerts *2024-10-19, version 1.0.9* App ignores notification preferences and will spam you even when turned off. Not very responsive going between the screens.
