Latest iOS. ### 1/5 — Disappointing and Ineffective Customer Support *2025-02-12* I had an extremely frustrating experience with Norton’s live chat support while trying to resolve an issue with Norton 360 Security & VPN, Norton VPN App, and Norton Ad Blocker. • I was in a support chat for nearly four hours (22:11 GMT+5 to 01:43), yet my issue was not resolved. • Multiple agents left the chat immediately after being assigned, leading to unnecessary delays. • Responses were slow and repetitive, and at times, agents contradicted previous statements, making the experience confusing. • During the chat, I noticed changes in my Norton account settings that I did not initiate. When I inquired about it, the agent did not provide a clear explanation and instead redirected the conversation. • Eventually, I was told that because my purchase was made through the iOS App Store, Norton support could not assist me and that I should contact Apple instead. This experience was highly disappointing, and I did not receive the level of support expected from a service focused on security. I had a list going, recs from friends, etc. I saw this on my latest App Store search, started to read reviews after confirming overall star rating — and then paused. You see, I’m almost a senior citizen. I was starting to work the internet by actually writing articles to explain what the upcoming Internet actually was and how we hoped it would help our branch personnel. Yep, I’m that old. So, for me to pause my research, look again at the name, and say to myself, “Yeah, I’m done. Not even reading this stuff. I remember Norton and that’s what I’m getting…because it’s Norton.” I really did. I thought it and did it, just because it’s Norton. So, don’t let me down. Thanks! It is very easy to install and no settings need to be changed. Now, I can read articles with no break in the content or annoying pop-ups, it just works. There is an option to add exceptions if there are websites you don’t want blocked. Someone commented that it worked for them on Safari but not Chrome; that is because it’s designed specifically for iOS and not Google products. I read the negative reviews but have not experienced any problems.
