As such, I've had numerous duplicate contacts added to my phone over the years. I use Norton on my Windows PC (and have for years) so I decided to use it on my iPhone. Huge mistake! After it was done, some of my most common contacts were gone completely and others were missing street addresses or primary phone numbers. None of the supposed clean up steps followed any rhyme or reason that I would have directed, and there were no questions asked to guide the process. In short, what might work well for removing duplicate images does not with Norton Phone Cleanup. ### 3/5 — Contact cleaning *2026-06-14, version 1.15.2* My daughter and my contact were merged and I’m unable to separate the two by name and phone and pictures. Not useable ### 2/5 — Gute Idee, massive Probleme *2025-08-31* Hab mir die App gerade runtergeladen, ein einjähriges Abo abgeschlossen und die siebentägige kostenlose Testversion genutzt. Die Optimierung der Kontakte hat super geklappt. Aber alles andere hat nicht funktioniert: 1. alte Screenshots, die ich löschen wollte, konnte ich auswählen, aber das Feld "in Papierkorb Verschieben" war nicht auswählbar. 2. Die Medienbereinigung wurde mir überhaupt nicht angezeigt (bei "weiteren Tools" nicht auffindbar), so dass ich Doppelbilder und verschwommene Bilder nicht löschen konnte. 3. Die App ist bei zehnminütige Nutzung zweimal abgestürzt, obwohl alles auf neuestem Stand ist. Die Idee dieser App ist sehr gut, aber die Umsetzung ist schlecht. Es sind massive technische Fehler enthalten. Aber selbst wenn diese Fehler nicht vorhanden wären, ist 26 € im Jahr für so ein Service. Viel zu viel! Für ein bis zwei Euro im Monat würde ich permanent Kunde bleiben. **Developer response:** Danke für die genaue Rückmeldung. Für die Fotofunktionen ist auf iOS meist die Fotos-Berechtigung der Grund, wenn „In Papierkorb verschieben“ ausgegraut ist oder „Medienbereinigung“ fehlt. Bitte prüfe in Einstellungen > Fotos > Norton Cleaner > Vollzugriff erlauben und öffne danach „Weitere Tools“ erneut. Bei den Abstürzen hilft oft zuerst ein iOS-Update auf 16.x oder neuer, danach die App aktualisieren und das Gerät neu starten. Falls es weiter auftritt, ist support.norton.com der richtige Weg. You would think ultimate includes all utilities but no notion keeps asking for more costly add ons. They will charge you immediately, and you will not be allowed to cancel the subscription until one year after activation. I tried to cancel well within the trial time was over. They wouldn’t give me a refund, and fought me every step of the way to prevent me from escalating with Apple.
