Trying to add my ne ipad pro in my 5 devices. Not sure if it has been completed. I dread having to reach out to customer service now, based on the other reviews here. This App is the most useless thing ever. Why can’t their be a webpage as well?! ### 1/5 — Updated Stupid *2023-06-08* I’ve cooperated with Norton tech and provided screenshots. Now a different tech wants videos. In the account it shows the subscription for my device. This screen protection is part of my subscription. The useless app shows “0”. The stupid app repeatedly makes me sign in to my account insisting I update info which does not need updating. But after repeatedly doing annupdate anyway the stupid loop starts all over again. The app is worthless Norton. I’ve deleted / reinstalled repeatedly. It’s crap. I AM DONE! ### 1/5 — Norton device care too many conditions *2022-08-31, version 2.0.9* You basically have to Guess which device in your family might break 30 days into the future. Then you get it fixed, have to pay $25 deductible and then only get up to $100. It would be much better if you have a device that breaks, then just register it to get it fixed. ### 1/5 — Total scam *2022-08-18, version 2.0.9* First app is clunky Next you are giving them permission to monitor everything including your audio and photos so they can protect your screen? Next the fine print is that they have a max of 100 dollar coverage after 25 deductible. (Screens cost about 350) Therefore the most you could get from this is 75 dollars if you broke your screen and jumped through all the hoops. Is your privacy and sanity only worth 75 dollars? If so, enjoy the false “protection” and if not delete this app designed to collect data. Frankly this whole thing is like a phishing scam based on fear of broken glass. I have used Norton for decades but their association with Life Lock and now this crypto mining nonsense is giving me great pause: may be time to dump Norton as these behaviors decrease my security, not increase it. PS most of the positive reviews they include about this app have nothing to do with the app. They are about Norton antivirus. If this company wanted to be honest with its customers it would remove all the ratings not about this specific app. They won’t do that because their average score would likely drop to the 1-2 range. ### 1/5 — One device is supposed to be included in my package, but they want to charge me extra! *2022-07-01, version 2.0.9* As others have mentioned, one device screen is supposed to be included at no charge for the package I purchased. You have to download a separate app to get the protection, but when you do, to add your device, they want to charge you extra! Scam. Disappointed in Norton. ### 1/5 — Benefit Impossible to access *2022-03-10, version 2.0.9* Tried to register my device but it quickly expired Who know if you can truly register a device and access the screen care benefit ### 1/5 — Fraud! *2022-01-24, version 2.0.9* I have several Norton subscriptions on my computer, and it said I got one phone screen protection for free. When I downloaded the app like it said, it wanted me to purchase the screen protection that it previously said was included free with my subscription. This should be prosecuted as fraud! It is just a marketing ploy to get more and more money. They did the same thing when I bought Privacy Monitor. They will only investigate ONE of the 63 violations out there per quarter! It will take 16 YEARS to get them all at that rate! Then they said, oh, you need Privacy Moniyir Assistant to do more. But I read about that one, and it is also limited to one per quarter. What a rip off company! I remember when Norton was trusted and had integrity. **Developer response:** Sorry to hear about that. I’ve deleted it and re-downloaded it so many times. I’m very disappointed with this. ### 1/5 — Screen care *2021-10-15, version 2.0.9* If the trouble with my apps! Customer service advised me to uninstall my apps because security pictures would not fit in my window. On re-downloading my apps screen kid did not have my protection listed and I had to put my credit card information in and re-pay for protection for it to be active when I already have protection. I hope Customer service cancel the fee So I’m not being billed twice. Otherwise I would be very happy. Thank you sincerely Vincent Rizzo ### 1/5 — Useless *2020-10-07, version 2.0.3* I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a more useless app. The only reason I downloaded it was to submit a screen repair claim (why you’re not allowed to just do that through their website I don’t understand), but it won’t let me validate my phone and therefore won’t let me submit a claim. When I tried to submit this feedback through the app, I got an error message that their email address couldn’t be found. Such a waste of time. **Developer response:** Sorry to hear about your frustration. It sounds like the app is not automatically finding your phone. If you click on "Not your phone?" you should be able to search and find your phone.
