I wish people were able to tag friends or reply to comments directly, I wish the notifications would be more specific about which post was involved instead of "you have a new note" it feels messy in the notification feed, and I'd love to be able to post pictures. ### 3/5 — Too Buggy? i got removed? *2023-10-21* I literally logged in like yesterday or the day before, and i checked the progress today to find i was off the waiting list much to my excitement. the app was fine and i updated my profile my layout and made a few posts, when suddenly everyone started to say their app was lagging, as was mine. i did what any rational person does and closed the app to open it back up, but when i did i was back at the sign up screen. i entered my info until i got to the invite ID, i didn't have one, but i was just in the app? was i not meant to be in the app yet??? i had no choice but to join the waiting list. back at #299,893 on the list even though i was just in the app. this isn't good app design. you need to make sure things like this don't happen, what if i log back on and my profile isn't set up? Don't get me wrong it's a nice social media, well on its way to virality i believe but the bugs need to be fixed. TL;DR i got off the waiting list only to be put back on. ### 3/5 — It's fun but it needs so much work *2023-10-21* The app is absolutely flooded right now with minors posting a lot of sexual things and picking weirdo fights with strangers, and the block function just does not work yet. People you block are still able to comment on your stuff. I wish there was an option to block all people of a certain age range but then again a ton of people are able to make an account and write their birthday as the day they signed up and their age as 100+. I like the bare bones enough, it's fun to have a colorful profile with so many other social media accounts constantly trying to make everything look plain and i think boosts are fun. But this app needs SO MUCH WORK. It's clear the creators wee not prepared for the growth and i get that. But i really hope they get on top of the current issues asap so i can continue to use this instead of deleting like so many other new pop up social media. ### 4/5 — I love this app sm! *2023-10-20* This app is really good, fun to use simple and I like it alone the only problem I have had was with my account getting hacked into. I deleted my account but cannot enter the app, ‘the data cannot be read because it isn’t in the correct format’ I don’t know if anyone else is having to issue or its just me. ### 3/5 — One feature I’d love to see! *2023-10-20* I think this app definitely deserves at least 4 stars! But.. I really really really wish we had the option to delete status’s we have posted. Sometimes I’m feeling something in the moment and awhile later I’d really rather remove it but that option isn’t there yet! <3 Other than that I love the app and can’t wait for more features :) ### 4/5 — Give us more ways to Interact and customize *2023-10-19* This app has a lot of potential but I wish there was more to do in it! Right now theres not much but you have dedicated users! I am one of them. And if you are trying to make money give us more and you will be successful! This app is awesome Give us more ways to engage and play !! ### 4/5 — Just a few suggestions *2023-10-19* I love the app so far the account creation is super fun and you can really see the creator on display. I only have a few complaints. The censorship currently on the app is extremely inconsistent and not too mention unnecessary. I understand wanting to censor hateful worse but censoring minor swears is extremely unnecessary. I also hope you plan on putting an age restriction on this app as I feel an app like this would be better for an 16+ audience. ### 4/5 — teeny little things *2023-10-19* just so yk i LOVE this app. There’s so many things that have been done right and i think it’s the best thing to exist ever. But i have some small suggestions that i think i would like to point out. 1. Gradient backgrounds on profiles why not?? i mean it makes sense 2. Reply’s to notes i think it’s really annoying that you can’t reply to peoples notes, especially that people like to ask questions and add on to their notes later on 3. better incorporation of the friends only switch i think the friends only feature is amazing, but i don’t like how it’s taking up such a big part of the screen, maybe you guys could just move it to a corner or something 4. Make it so it doesn’t pause my music when i boost someone this one is REALLY nit-picky, but i just have to say it. I really love the sound of the boosting, but i hate how it pauses my music playing. 5. Groups/Spaces I think you guys should add groups/spaces to the app. I think it would be really cool if we had a small revival of forums on this app too. 6. Have your profile colors appear more i’m not completely sure how much i want this ones but it would be cool i think if your profile colors appeared on your posts, or maybe your replies. Sometimes i wanna just see someone’s colors and be like “hm they look cool let me check out their profile”. In conclusion, these were just some of my small suggestions of things that could be improved/added ### 4/5 — It's Fun! *2023-10-19* I love using this app. The layout is very original and I like the chaos of an unfiltered, universal feed. The addition of the friends tab definitely made it more tolerable. I think a great update for this app would be user-made groups, so people could make a group for people with similar interests, or search for groups and join them. It has a lot of potential and I'm having fun using it. ### 3/5 — Needs a delete button *2023-10-18* You can make posts and comments but there is no deleting it once it’s up.. please give the option to delete posts and comments off of posts, the only way to get rid of others comments is to block ### 3/5 — read this *2023-10-18* i'm 19, i love this app bc its fun and silly. but censoring words like hello? masses? class? those aren't even curse words, a lot of adults use this app from what i've seen and yeah the app is 13+ but teenagers curse WAY more than usual, it's actually normal now. and cursing isn't inherently bad it's just someone expressing themselves through words. if the app turns into roblox you're going to lose like all the people using your app because... it's just weird. also can we get a filter to separate minors from adults or something? or at least have a way to see who's lying about their age. i never leave reviews, but i'm mostly concerned about the stupid censoring bc it is stupid. ### 3/5 — It’s new but needs more *2023-10-18* Where’s the custom building? Where’s the photo ability? Where’s the coding! I’d like to see more from this app but I’m willing to be fair and keep using it to see it build up. Also think you guys dropped a lot of invites WAY to soon. There’s nothing but weird kids on here and it’s kind of embarrassing. ### 4/5 — I Like it… *2023-10-18* The app is great and I know y’all are still working out the kinks. However, there are a lot of glitches and bugs. On my home screen my profile shows up as all blacked out whereas on my profile it’s colorful. Also when I send notes it keeps saying “UpdateNotesView error”. Yesterday it was working fine so I’m not exactly sure what happened. But I just wanted it to be brought to attention! Overall I think it’s a super fun app and I’m going to continue using nospace. But my main issues are is that it doesn’t show how many notifications you get and there is also no dark mode option. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — app is broken, and there is no way to fix it. *2023-10-22* i love the concept and the idea of the app, and i love customizing my profile and posting, however i’ve been signed out without my knowledge, and i cannot sign back in. i closed the app on my phone, and it was just logged out when i re-opened the app. i don’t understand why this is happening, and i also don’t understand why there’s not an option to log back in on the user interface when you first open the app. if you have an existing profile, you should be able to sign back in. especially considering the fact that there is an option to log out (without deleting your account) when you’re in the settings of the app. if you can log out, and your account still exists, why can’t you log back in? why does closing the app automatically sign people out? ### 1/5 — Horrible app should just let everyone join *2023-10-22* I downloaded because of the cute aesthetic I joined the waitlist on October 12, 2023 and randomly checked the app October 20, 2023 I saw I was automatically signed in I was setting up my profile but accidentally closed the app so when I went to open the app back up it was making enter a number to rejoin the waitlist which opened my safari and I saw I was back on a waitlist which is very annoying I tried emailing nospace but still haven’t gotten a response I would like access back to my account this is not fair and that’s why it should be open to everybody if you needed to have a waitlist then you should have released the app until everything worked how it was supposed to **Developer response:** we're trying our best :(((( this bug should be fixed now, if still no work pls send note halp@nospace.app –– @tz (mother of nospace) ### 1/5 — Genuine Review & Warning *2023-10-15* For starters I understand the app is still in development and kinks need to get worked out. However my focus isn’t so much the app and it’s problems it’s the community on it. There is 0 moderation on the app. You can post and say anything, your icon can be anything, so on and so forth. This also means that even with the 12+ rating people can post sexual content which is putting the minors at risk. There is a large community on the app coming from other social media who have explicitly posted a genuine interest in minors as an adult and are interacting with accounts that are listed as being used by a minor. This is a huge safety risk and kids are actively being put in danger. If you are a minor and interested in this app please remember to be safe online because as it stands right now this app is NOT safe for you and you can get seriously hurt. ### 1/5 — Wish I could give it 0 stars *2023-10-01* My space was and will always be better ### 2/5 — Logged out without warning *2023-10-23* I finally got off the waitlist after 2 months of being 239,222. I was so excited, and I was going to give my invite codes to my friends until I log on and discover I’ve been logged off. I tried to get back in, but it put me right back into the spot I started with in September. This is a great app and all, but I shouldn’t have been logged off with only having the app for a single day. If a developer is reading this, I would love to have some help into getting back in, thank you! ### 2/5 — questionable security + boring *2023-10-20* i find it weird they need your phone number and push you to connect your contacts. their support team also doesn’t respond to emails. other than that, if you ignore the bugs and you don’t mind an unfinished UI, then it’s not bad. it’s fun to customize your profile i guess. it’s really boring after 5 minutes and it’s impossible to have any sort of community on here because there are no dms and they took away the friend feed. maybe that’s harsh tho since it’s still being developed. ### 2/5 — Very Buggy, Needs Dark Mode *2023-10-18* I’m not able to add a song, when I do I have to type in the free text thing, also it won’t show my notifications when I check them even though I get a banner telling me someone replied and stuff. There also needs to be a dark mode, my eyes bleed when I look at the app, otherwise fun ig, just doesn’t seem complete yet and there needs to be more moderation in people’s layouts and what they say. ### 3/5 — Pretty Cool!! Needs a few things. *2023-11-06* I think you guys should add a feature where we can save out themes so we can switch with ease. And maybe a club feature (?) Where you can post about anything you want related to a club you join or make. And maybe we can decorate the clubs like we do with the themes and post images and stuff!! Plz add this it would be cuteeee. The clubs can have there own divided section or just customize it how we want. Right now, all you can do is update your status and see all of the posts from others on the app. Which is cool, but there’s no way to see who is interacting with you or go through your notifications because, well, there’s not a notification tab. You can’t post pictures, you can’t post the songs/books/movies/shows you’re into because there’s too many bugs preventing you from doing so. I don’t want to post who I’m “interested in” because I already have a partner, and there’s no way to hide that section on my profile. No way to hide my birth date from people not on my friend’s list either. Also, how does the wall work? Why can I not post on my own? Why can’t I go back and see my previous updates? Other than that, it’s a really cool concept and I’m excited to see the future of this app. Open the gates and let more users join, y’all. The world is missing a cool social media app like this. **Developer response:** hiiii thank u for all ur thoughts and for seeing the potential !! 1/ notification tab works now 2/ updating songs is rate limited by spotify –– you can write free text for each section in the meantime 3/ we are working on letting everyone hide profile sections (including age, interested in, etc) 4/ walls are for your friends to post on. updates you post will show up on your profile already! 5/ we are working on letting you see all your past updates as well ! appreciate your support and patience so much : ) –– @tz (mother of nospace) ### 3/5 — Very Buggy *2023-10-23* I love this app and the community. it’s currently my favorite app. now normally i dont write app reviews but it is very disappointing that the community is so great but the app is full of bugs, i hear a lot of people saying the block button doesn’t work, i personally have experienced multiple app crashes and struggle changing my bio or posting because it won’t post the first time or i’ll get a notification that theres been an error. this app has so much potential. i really hope the devs can figure out the source of the glitches and fix them because its my only complaint about this app. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — feedback *2023-11-12* i’ve given this app five stars because it has the potential to be a definite player in the social media space, however, i have an issue with a particular part of the rules. i feel that people posting sexual content and are minors at the same time should be taken seriously. however, feel like sexual words at the same time are just freedom of speech, maybe at that point in time someone wants to share that they are a bit feral and want to have people who relate comment on that particular post, some people are not even being serious, and it’s completely satirical with a lot of the jokes on the app. I feel like as long as it’s not sexual harassment towards another user, they shouldn’t be banned. I additionally feel like freedom of speech should be taken seriously as long as it’s not racism, doxxing, and bullying. if you really want to protect minors, you shouldn’t allow people to change their age more than once and separate them from the adults whether than taking away a form of what some people talk about, or i even heard that you’ve shadow banned accounts or even banned accounts, maybe you should have just flagged these accounts as either 18+ or NSFW so if they were interacting with a minor in a sexual way, you could see that one account is 18+ NSFW and the other is a minor if they were reported and ban them that way. ### 5/5 — Potential to chart the tops potential to get shut down *2023-10-30* This app is still in development so I’m not going to fault it for bugs and other technicalities but I’m curious as to what the future of this app will be like because it’s pretty skeletal right now and I understand this is MySpace 2.0 the only thing saving this app from getting shut down is the fact that you can’t dm or post pics because we all know what would happen and that’s not the apps fault so I guess maybe if your 18 and older the app should connect with people who are 18 or older idk ### 5/5 — Great app annoying people *2023-10-20* Great app with cool customizations.
