I used it constantly because it still offered the 1984 NIV. But when I installed the latest OS for my iPhone today July 7, 2014, I am sad to see that version is no longer there. There are plenty of other apps that offered other versions but this was the last one I know of that offered the NIV 1984. Guess I might as well delete this version now. Love this app. Please don't ever update or if you do don't take out the NIV 1984 version! This is the only app and only website I can find that still has that version. I don't know why they did this but when they updated to the 2011 edition they took out the 1984 one. I've never known a publisher who has taken a previous version away when they publish a new version. I memorize scripture and when the version is changed it makes it very difficult and confusing. Not user friendly for me to be able to just search a word (logical) and have the thesaurus give me choices. Instead I search a word and the screen goes blank. Feel free to give any instructions as to what I’m doing wrong. When I got my iPad Air and loaded not just words I saw that the amplified bible has been removed, so I deleted this app off my phone and my iPad Air maybe you could add that bible back for me. Also support link for email doesn’t work. Since its a “free app” that is commendable for that-good job; still, the newer version leads me ro depreciate its usefulness and functionality over the previous version where copy and paste was straightforward text to do so. Would have sent this via email support link; but as i said the support link in the app is non operational! ### 5/5 — I like it overall..... *2020-03-07, version 4.0* This is a great app. Although, they can make a few adjustments like changing the audio voice which sounds like a robot. However, I would still recommend this app because it is free, easy to search, and it helps you with your Bible vocabulary. ### 5/5 — Love this app *2020-02-25, version 4.0* The title says it all, when you're looking for a verse and only can think of a few disjointed words in it, this app will find it for you. Update as of 7/4/16 - this app will do a much better search than any other Bible software. Also on two occasions I've gotten in touch with the developer and his response was terrific. I contacted him about adding a new Bible version and then again about phrase searching and both times he responded quickly and both times the changes were made. I have a lot of Bible and other software and it's extremely unusual for the developer to go above and beyond to be so accommodating. Very good app and even better developer. 2/24/20 10:05 pm ct I'M ADDING TO THIS HOPING THE DEVELOPER WILL SEE IT. I'VE GOT THE LATEST UPDATE AND I BELIEVE THERE TO BE BUGS INCLUDING THAT THE LINK TO EMAIL THEM DOES NOT WORK. THE BIBLE WON'T STAY ON THE THE BIBLE YOU CHOOSE AND I DON'T SEE A WAY TO COPY THE VERSE OR VERSES THE SEARCH FINDS. ### 5/5 — Easy to maneuver *2016-09-21, version 3.6* I really like how easy it is to find scripture in the language version I want quickly. Other Bible apps either offer limited versions or are difficult.
