## What is Nota?

Nota is a notes app that keeps your notes where they belong: on your device. There is no account to create, no cloud to trust and no ads. Open it and start writing.

WRITE
• Rich text: headings, bold, italic, underline, lists, quotes, code blocks and links
• Checklists that show how many items are done
• Photos from your library or camera, right in the note
• Word and character counts as you type

SKETCH
• Draw inside any note with a pen, pencil or highlighter
• Pick colours and stroke width, undo and redo
• The sketch sits in the note and shows on your notes list

ORGANISE
• Folders and coloured tags
• Pin the notes you need every day
• Archive what you are done with
• Search every note, with filters for type, tag and date
• Colour a note's background so it stands out

REMEMBER
• Put a reminder on any note and get a notification when it is due

PROTECT
• Lock a note behind Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode
• Version history keeps the earlier text of a note, so you can go back
• Deleted notes wait in the Trash for 30 days
• Back up everything to a single file and restore it on any device

SHARE
• Send a note as text, PDF or Markdown
• Export all your notes as a ZIP of Markdown files

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Nota has no servers. Your notes, sketches and photos never leave your device unless you share or back them up yourself. Nothing is collected, tracked or sold.

Free, with no ads, no subscription and no in-app purchases. Works offline. Made for iPhone and iPad, in light and dark.
