## What is notams.aero?

Notams Aero is the best NOTAM application. 

You can see NOTAMs on the map. Each NOTAM is displayed in categorized colors. Red means firing, yellow means training, blue means UAV, green means parachute etc. Additionally; each NOTAM area has a symbol which describes its subject ( for instance; you will see a remote control symbol for UAV NOTAM area)

* Airport/Aerodrome meteorological information (METAR & TAF) 
* Airport/Aerodrome NOTAMs 
* Altitude filtering for NOTAMs
* All defined areas (prohibited areas, restricted areas, CTR, TMA, TRA, TSA, CBA etc) 
* Airports, heliports and other aeronautical points with their detailed information

notams.aero contains these countries :
Albania, Armenia, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Finland, France, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, United Kingdom and United States

Annual subscription :
notams.aero is NOT FREE. You should purchase annual subscription to have all information. ( 19.90EUR / year ) 
Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of in-app purchase and subscription automatically renews each year unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.
Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable

Confusing setup overall; when I touch any white circle point for a notam, all it gives me is the area basics - and the NOTAM on ANY spot I touch was a blank screen. Sorry! I'll go elsewhere! 🙄

This app also charged me for the demo account.  I was after the UK fir. But the only option is Bosnia.  

I tried to contact support but broken link.  Stay away or Apple remove app as not fit for purpose

Some drawbacks from my perspective in this Notam app:

1/ Mainly: we can't see what the app does, any point you click makes the red basket blink for purchase. We would have liked a real demo version.
2/ It looks like only CTR and TMA are ID'd on the map, not the R and P zones.
3/ No selectivity possible, on a particular straight route for example.
4/ Only in English, apparently.

All nav apps give access to free Notams. Unfortunately this app version does not allow to identify the benefits over what we already use

I have this app on my iPad and it works OK. However, I had to reload it on my iPhone and it booted into the"demo" version. I tried to restore my purchase and the app acknowledges I have purchased a subscription but hangs on that page. No matter what I try the app will not revert to the operational display. Useless! There is a word for taking someone's money for a service and then denying them access to that service. Sort it out please.

I can't send any message to the website of the creator. 
I would delete my order but can't do it. 😡
