The app claims to accept Puerto Rico driver’s licenses for address verification, yet due to a clear UI/backend bug, the PR DL option disappears at the document capture step when it’s actually selected as the verification method. Support acknowledged the issue inconsistently, gave contradictory answers, and ultimately suggested incorrect “workarounds” (like selecting Alabama as a state) instead of fixing the underlying bug. This resulted in hours of unnecessary friction for something that should be straightforward. If you live in Puerto Rico, be prepared for avoidable headaches until this is properly fixed. This takes away from the general capability of Notary and potential revenue/customers. It has always been getting in the car, driving somewhere else and waiting in line to talk to somebody that doesn't know how to use a computer. From the beginning to end of this experience, I had a notarized document in three minutes. Unbelievable. My jaw is on the floor. Wonderful experience Would highly recommend Notorize.com. Now you sign it, upload signed document to notarize. Normally you sign in front of a notary. Our notary didn’t speak to us, didn’t mention he was notarizing an unsigned document. I uploaded docs no less than 20 times and answered security questions. When finally getting to a video call with a Notary their name would appear but no video/audio except for 2 times out of the approximately 8 tries when connected to the video. No less than 6-8 emails/support requests 3-4 calls. It’s my first time using this in forever and now I’m inconvenienced. ### 1/5 — Improperly notarized document *2025-05-06, version 190.0.0* The notary I was connected to didn’t notarize my power of attorney document properly. They told the second witness they weren’t needed and had one witness sign both witness spots on the document. In PA, two witnesses need to sign the document. And he didn’t acknowledge and put his seal where the one witness signed. The document is not valid the way he did it. I didn’t pay, and I would never trust this app for such an important document. That’s what you get for being connected to a notary that’s not in your state. The app doesn’t either. Ipon launching the app, you’re presented with options to begin the process - completely blind to any pricing. Folks, under no circumstances will upload personal documents and ID information without knowing the cost of doing so. Had to use a mobile notary which we use for real estate transactions.
