## What is Notations.app?

Notations is a calm, private notebook for everything you write down: plans, lists, meeting notes, recipes and drafts. Notes are plain Markdown, so they stay yours and go anywhere.

CAPTURE FROM ANYWHERE
• Share Sheet: save a link, text, image or PDF from any app
• Voice notes, transcribed on your iPhone
• Scan paper documents into text
• Siri and Shortcuts: "New note in Notations"
• Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, and Control Center buttons

ORGANIZE WITHOUT FUSS
• Folders, tags, pins and checklists
• Keep versions of a note side by side as tabs
• Snooze a note and get a reminder when it's time
• Find any note from the app or from iPhone Search

WORKS OFFLINE
Your notebook lives on your iPhone, so it opens instantly and works without a connection. Changes sync to your other devices when you're back online.

SHARE ONLY WHAT YOU CHOOSE
Every note is private until you share it. Send a private link, or publish a note to your public page as a clean, readable web page. Listen to any note read aloud, even with the screen locked.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No ads, no tracking and no third-party analytics. Lock the app with Face ID. Export everything as Markdown whenever you like, or delete your account from Settings.

Optional extras use your own AI provider key and stay off until you turn them on.
