I think you are mistaken about paying for it on the App Store. Only the in app purchase is paid to unlock Sharp and flat notes, both clefs and ledger line notes and custom notes and themes. ### 2/5 — Not very good *2025-03-23* This was not good because, Kept asking to buy pro Wouldn’t let me switch to the other hand until I bought pro Did not have the sharp or flat signs on it. When I installed it on their devices (from the previously purchased screen in the App Store), it wouldn’t unlock and asked for payment again. Frustrating. **Developer response:** Family sharing has been switched on. Please try again and it should work. ### 3/5 — Needs more ledger lines *2024-01-02* Seems like it’d be exactly what I’m looking for except it only goes two ledger lines above and below ### 3/5 — Limited but OK for what it does *2023-11-06* I like that it provides a full range of notes to practice and can take input via MIDI. Having said that, these are not discrete exercises, just one note after another ad infinitum, so it’s kind of boring. Also the orientation is fixed so you can’t turn your phone upside down if you need to in order to accommodate a MIDI cable. Probably to frustrate you enough to buy “the pro” app ### 3/5 — accepts incorrect notes !!! *2023-01-28* This app is quite helpful in learning piano keyboard orientation, however - when using an acoustic piano (recently tuned) it often accepts incorrectly played notes and moves on without any visual indication that a mistake was made (especially in the range of notes below middle C). Most persons using this app (and especially those familiar with the keyboard, and those persons with a good “Ear”) will realize that they played a wrong note immediately AFTER they played it, so the overall learning process is not seriously impacted. Regardless of the above, I continue to use the app and improve! ### 1/5 — Screen frozen on new IPhone 14 *2023-01-21, version 3.5* Does not work on latest IPhone. Screen is frozen. ### 1/5 — Says wrong notes are right *2022-07-06* It says wrong notes are correct and is extremely inaccurate. There’s a setting that lets you turn the sensitivity up or down but it still will go to the next note and show you did it right even if play a note that’s not even close. The constant nagging makes this impossible. I paid for this app fair and square. I didn’t pay to get nagged every few minutes. All other customisation for learning does not work. It doesn’t play the notes, the timer or clock does nothing, settings allows you to edit settings but makes no differences still does nothing. Don’t waste your money on buying premium. Not worth one star only by default. And then I wanted to practice bass clef and it wants me to PAY to do other clefs! Why would I want to PAY for that?! To play one clef?? Stupid really. I downloaded this app thinking it would actually help me get better at piano! But if I can’t even play anything-what’s the point. Please, if this is just a bug or something, fix it! This is by far the best sight reading app I have found. I’ve tries others and this one works with my keyboard and the microphone on my iPad. With the upgrade, you can tweak the sensitivity and it’s perfect. Also, the upgrade gives sharps and flats. In just the first week of using this, I have seen my speed go up considerably. And because I can respond using the keyboard (four octaves) it’s so much better than flash cards or similar apps that don’t equate to the actual location of the keys on the keyboard. ### 5/5 — awesome! *2025-02-27, version 3.5* i love it and it lets you actually use your own piano! ### 5/5 — Learning *2024-12-25* This app helped me tons with recognising notes, moving around the piano, and also short practice when l was short on time. It worked. I was able to reach out to the developer. The app is now working as it is designed to function. My one suggested upgrade would be to add midi and Bluetooth capabilities. A big thank you to the developer! Previous one star review that I upgraded to four-star. I had no intention of writing a negative review until after attempting to contact them through the app. However the contact us link in the app is not functioning. I also tried the app support link right here within the App Store. That particular app support link takes you to a non-existing Twitter account. So I am left with no choice. My first disappointment was the free version offers nothing. They would be better off giving you the full version for two weeks, or something like that. However the app is only four dollars so I went ahead and purchased to experience the full version. The app is not picking up the sound of my keyboard. Therefore it is stuck on one note and wont switch to a new note. The microphone option is turned on within the app. I have also restarted my device which is a 2018 iPad. Hopefully the developers respond to this feedback so that I can have the problem resolved or a refund. Then I would be happy to upday my review. The app is useless as it is. **Developer response:** The latest update released today adds MIDI connection support, new sensitivity setting, more sensitive microphone as you requested.
