For all those who got locked out after iOS update. Get your info and save it. Make a copy. Hope it never happens again. Iapcreation just created a new version to work with current iOS but for everyone who was in earlier version there was no warning to upgrade or back up. Kept loads of stories on it. I’m talking hundreds. Not exaggerating. It stopped updating, couldn’t open it, lost all of the stories. Fast forward to now July/1/2021, it updates. Now has a subscription, so even though I bought it before, all of my stories are still gone and I don’t have the full version anymore. Given that I was disappointed more than once and now I’m not sure I’d trust them with my notes, I’ll probably leave the app on to mourn the story graveyard but that’s it. The problem is, the recent update is not supported by this app because the developer hasn’t made the update to allow it To work on the latest version. Long story short, an app I’ve relied on for years without incident will no longer open. So yay!
