## What is Note?

Capture a note in seconds. Act on it. Archive or delete it. Move on.

NoteToSelf is a fast and superclean way to get a thought out of your head and into text. No folders to choose, no tags to assign, no decisions to make. Just open the app and write.

HOW IT WORKS
Open the app. Write your note. When you're done, swipe right to archive or swipe left to delete. Your next note gets the full screen. That's the entire workflow.

YOUR NOTE ON YOUR HOME SCREEN
Add the NoteToSelf widget and your active note is always visible — no need to open the app. Medium and Large widgets for the home screen, plus a Lock Screen widget for the thought you can't afford to lose. When the note changes, the widget changes. One thought at a time, everywhere you look.

GESTURES THAT MAKE SENSE
Swipe right - archive (the safe action)
Swipe left - delete (the decisive action)
Tap - edit your note
Hold - share it
Shake - undo a delete (20-second window)

Every gesture has its own haptic feedback — light for routine actions, heavier for destructive ones. You'll feel the difference. Or turn haptics off in Settings if you prefer silence.

YOUR ARCHIVE
Up to 10 archived notes by default. Want more room? Toggle expanded archive in Settings for up to 20. The limit is intentional — it keeps your archive meaningful instead of becoming another junk drawer.

WRITING INSIGHTS
Track your writing streak, total days written, and average note length. See lifetime statistics and your archive at a glance. Patterns without pressure.

NoteToSelf now has Settings, accessible from your archive. The headline: an optional expanded archive that doubles your limit from 10 to 20 notes. The constraint is still the default — but now it's yours to adjust.

Don't worry about toggling it off later. If you're over 10, the toggle locks until you've made space. No notes lost, ever.
