Note to Be is a MIDI app and does not produce any sound on its own. You need a MIDI input source and an audio output destination in order to work with Note to Be. The AUv3 plugin requires an AUv3 host app such as AUM, Logic Pro for iPad, Loopy Pro, Cubasis, Nanostudio, apeMatrix, Audiobus etc.

### 2/5 — Zweifelhafte PB-Werte! Vorsicht.

Das Auslesen der gesendeten Midi-Werte legt nahe, dass es einen entscheidenden Bug gibt. Auch bei MPE-Einstellung +/- 48 bewegen sich alle PB-Werte im Bereich 4000 statt 8000. Da mit Expertise fehlt, kann ich das Problem und meine Beobachtung bzw. Fehlervermutung nicht exakter beschreiben. Fazit: Es lassen sich zwar Verbiegungen einbauen, die Ergebnisse klingen aber nicht korrekt. Außerdem ist es für die App bisher ein großer Unterschied, ob Noten, die nicht verändert werden sollen, in der Scala definiert werden. Eine Skala auf nur 3 Noten führt daher fast immer zu Pitch-Fehlern (unschön!). Trotzdem lassen sich “irgendwie” Noten mikrotonal verändern und vielleicht genügt das bereits einigen Nutzern. Von daher nicht ganz unbrauchbar. Sollte aber eine Abstimmung mit anderen Instrumenten und Midi-Werten notwendig sein wird Frust aufkommen.

Than I thought! So basically playing in exotic scales or microtones with no mistakes so you can focus on the rhythm and intervals. Very useable and I queasy I didn’t know about this sort of concept. Pseudo cheering but not really if it helps you learn, ha. Cheers
