Great Simple

App just works - it is refreshing to use a tool that just works
Support is second to none

Simple yet convenient and effective

In the past I've been using separate apps for to do list management and collecting inbox items. I still do, however, I thought it would make more sense to have a single inbox -- I always procrastinated on clearing out my non email inbox -- to process those items into action items for my real project and task lists (GTD).

This tool does exactly what I need: I put it into my iOS dock so that it's quick to fire up if I have to note down a thought for later. Also great that the mail doesn't go through 3rd party servers! Big plus!

If there's one thing to complain about its that the app icon looks really ugly (esp if you have it in your dock, but I can live with that :))

Clean, Minimalist, Solid

Note to Self is a well designed, minimalist app with simple and solid functionality from a highly responsive developer. Importantly, the app uses email settings directly and does not send potentially private messages through a third-party server as do Squarespace Note, Jotter, and others. The GUI is light, clean, and appealing. Well worth the few dollars for the elegant way it automates a commonly repeated task while ensuring privacy.
