I am not sure how to use the symbols that show at bottom of writing area. I messed with them a little. I like the spacing between the buttons, the sound feedback, and the uncluttered layout. The history tape is a big plus too. I only wish there was some way to lock the screen in landscape mode so I could use it on my wrist. The memory feature-you will lose your place and will spend more time trying to find where it recorded your numbers than if you just typed it all again to check your numbers. The free version has 'youtube ads' where it plays a loud Video that you have to wait 5 seconds to skip...and it will do it randomly while you are typing so you lose your concentration. I wouldn't pay for this. Spent two years with the app as my daily calculator (I'm a service tech) and now I can't stand it.
