But I got a new iPhone and payed again for the app thinking it was the same thing. I no longer can get the guided lines of wind assist pop ups. Is there a setting I’m missing? If I can fix this it would be five stars ### 3/5 — Stuff missing *2025-05-14* Got app no courses load. The wind assist works and the needle trainer. Everything else on the main menu doesn’t work. Waste of money. No refund offered for non working app. Since it adjusts to account for wind after first bounce the first bounce you plan for may not be the same spot the app plans for to end up in the same final spot you planned for. If you are aiming to hit specific spot, say between mogul or a rough bump, you might not hit that spot. At least that is what I think is happening. Talked with Playdemic about this app being considered cheating. They weren’t real clear but it sounded like they were looking into it. I think using it as overlay on the device you are playing on might be banned in the future. Using on different device I guess is ok??? ### 2/5 — It really needs an upgrade *2024-05-06* I had been playing with this app for two years and the only upgrade they have done was an increase on the wind value. Since 2020, they haven’t add the new tournaments or new courses. Also the needle trainer lags when you applies overpower, sometimes it freezes and starts skipping. One more thing, now with the new phones and new processor chips, you should make a widget to use when you’re playing on your iphone, not just for the iPad. The app needs an update though… the needle trainer is ok, it needs a little tweaking to help with higher needle speeds. The wind data is no longer accurate as the winds increase with each tour. When I first started using the app, the wind calculations were were almost 100% accurate, now that I’m playing the higher tours, the wind calculations are off by about 25%! I’m not only one to notice this, most of my clan mates can attest to the inaccuracies of the wind chart calculations. ### 2/5 — Inaccurate *2022-07-09, version 1.6.6* Feel like mine isn’t very accurate, especially my nirvana club… ### 3/5 — Great, but needs an update to fix Needle trainer *2022-06-10* I have been using this ap for several years now with great success. Inputting data on elevation and wind is quick. However, one of my favorite features, the Needle Trainer, barely works since the last update. The Needle Trainer has really improved the percentage of perfect hits, and it’s one of the main factors in my success. Since the last update, the needle lag makes it almost impossible to use, especially if any OP is applied. Since the needle speed at the Master level is much slower in the game, I practiced using OP to get a faster needle. Now OP makes the needle lag significantly. I would have given this a 5 star rating if the needle did not exist. Nonetheless, I will continue using it for the other great features unless something better comes along before this fixed. ### 1/5 — Not current *2021-12-26, version 1.6.6* Needs an update. None of the new tournaments are included in the notebook. If you’re using an IOS device don’t even bother. The overlay / widget won’t work on iPhone. It won’t work on iPad mini either. This app is useless to me on 2 different iOS devices. This app seems like it was amazing 3 years ago. I wish the slider was easier to use though, it is frustratingly difficult to be accurate with it. Would be great if we could type in a slider percentage or a button to nudge up/down by 1%. ### 4/5 — Needle Lag *2021-10-28* I have been using this app for almost 2 years, and I never play GC without it. It is extremely easy to use, very accurate, and makes it easy to switch bags. I would have given it a 5 rating were it not for the needle lag that has appeared on all my devices (iPhone 12 Max, iPhone 6+, and iPad (8th Generation))since the update. I do not experience it in Golf Clash at all, only in Notebook. This is very disappointing to me since I use the needle trainer for practice daily and as a warm up before playing GC. I don’t think this related to my hardware (all have >256GB). I would love for it be easier to update club levels in Notebook. If I update a club, I have go into each bag and adjust the level there. I would like to select several, but not necessarily all, bags and update a club level in the selected bags. Please fix the needle lag, and I will joyfully rate this a 5! ### 2/5 — Doesn’t work *2021-10-02, version 1.6.4* Does not work the same on Apple as it does on Android…there is no grid line etc. ### 4/5 — Great Update *2021-10-01, version 1.6.4* A little late with the update but I’m impressed with the new responsiveness. I use it strictly for wind/rings and it seamlessly slides over the app (iPad). If you’re looking for a boost in your game - an accurate wind guide, this is the app for you. I see some comments related to the some features that aren’t working (courses etc.). Use this for your wind adjustments and find your guides elsewhere. ### 1/5 — This app is a scam *2021-09-26, version 1.5.0* Don’t be sucked in by the 5 star reviews. This app looks like it was made by a 5 year old. Nobody in their right mind would charge money for this app. It worked for about a week and now it won’t load my golf bags or wind assist. I cant believe I paid money for this. I justified it by telling myself I’ll use it for the wind assist and now I can’t even use it. However, when I updated to iOS 26.0.1, the slide over feature disappeared and I have not been able to reinstall it yet. I am sure there is an easy fix, and I hope you can help me, and any others like myself get the feature back. I’ve won a number of tourneys with it. It was old, outdated, and not the best to navigate around with, but, they just recently updated it and it is worth it’s weight in gold. All your clubs, with the wind, are on one page, now. Didn’t really like going in to change clubs. They, also, added like 15 bags, for a total of 25, or so they say, I have not tried that yet. If you want to compete in Golf Clash, I would spend the few dollars, here, and go win some gold! It’s a no brainer, unless you like to lose. And, unlike what some others said in these reviews, it is accurate. I am guessing that their complaints are the secondary wind, or after the balls initial bounce. On extreme elevation or high wind, or both, you’ll have to figure that part out, as you would with any app, as it would not be possible to have an app figure that out, with all the variables that come into play. Great app, it is easier, now, and I will never change. The only complaint I would have is, my wife has this app, as well. For some reason, it would not open so she deleted it and had to go buy it again. My only problem is that some of the data such as courses does not work on this iPad as they refuse to load. There doesn’t seem to be any way to contact support in app or on their website that I see. The courses work when you go online to the website but when you pay for an app you should be able to access all its features. I play the game on my IPhone and I use a secondary device so I can get ring adjustments. I love this app it has helped me so much in my game.
