Noteroom is a quick note reading trainer for piano players. A note appears on the staff, you tap the matching key, and Noteroom measures how fast you recognise it. Practice in the moments in between: on your commute, waiting for the bus, on a coffee break. When you sit down at the piano, the notes come to you faster. Recognising notes instantly is the first building block of sight reading. Noteroom trains exactly that, so your time at the piano can go to the music itself. HOW IT WORKS - A note appears on the staff, you tap the matching key, - Start with just a few notes - Increase difficulty as you get better, a few notes at a time. - Your level is based on your average time per note. Get faster, level up - Your room improves as you level up. - Analytics show how you’ve improved over time. - Play on your phone or connect your device via MIDI. A ROOM THAT GROWS WITH YOU Every level upgrades your practice room, from a dusty cellar with a cheap keyboard to a music salon with a grand piano. SEE YOURSELF GET FASTER Track your speed per session and watch it improve over time. NEED A REFRESHER? A built-in reference sheet shows every note on the treble and bass staff, plus sharps and flats. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, no ads, no personal data. Your progress stays on your phone. We only collect anonymous usage stats to improve the app, and they're never linked to you. ## Is Noteroom safe? Not enough ratings yet to assess Noteroom. ## Is Noteroom legit? Levels that make sense We improved the way we explain how the level system work. A quieter practice screen Removed a few details to keep the focus on your practice session. Enriched the design with animations for a better, more fun experience. Plus a few minor bug fixes. Happy reading! ### 1.0.3 — 2026-08-23 Thirty-three new rooms, and a levelling system that finally explains itself. NEW ARTWORK Every room is redrawn, and every level now has its own — the top three used to share one. You start in an empty cellar and finish in a music salon with a concert grand. The picture on the card is bigger, too. ALWAYS SOMETHING TO AIM AT Every session now tells you the time to beat and the level it earns. Read slower than usual and it points you back at your own pace, rather than at a target you can't reach yet. THE END OF A STAGE IS VISIBLE Each stage has a ceiling — a point where reading faster can't raise your level any further. Noteroom now says so when you get there, and offers to move you up. THE WHOLE LADDER, IN ONE PLACE The levels explanation shows all thirty-two levels at once: eight stages across four speed bands, with your own level marked. YOUR ROOM, THE MOMENT YOU EARN IT Levelling up shows your new room straight away and names what arrived in it. SPEED BANDS HAVE CHANGED They're now four times you get under: four seconds, three, two, and one and a half. That makes the ladder harder than it was. Levels you've already earned are untouched. ## Apps similar to Noteroom | App | Rating | Price | Category | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | [MyMojo - Player for Chord Poly](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/mymojo-player-for-chord-poly/id6759039129) | — | Free | Music | | [clefPlayer: Learn Piano](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/clefplayer-learn-piano/id6793831932) | — | Free | Music | | [Pitch Perfector - Ear training](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/pitch-perfector-ear-training/id1010243169) | — | Free | Music | | [tuneUp Lite - Ear Training](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/tuneup-lite-ear-training/id884607905) | 4.6 (22) | Free | Music | | [MIDI Piano & Guitar Chords](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/midi-piano-and-guitar-chords/id6760035776) | 5.0 (1) | Free | Music | | [CyberTuner](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/cybertuner/id490451741) | 4.8 (59) | $999.99 | Music | ## More apps by Mark Vogelaar - [Vocube](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/vocube/id1552557067) All apps by Mark Vogelaar: https://appshunter.io/developer/1550651158 ## Related topics [piano note finder](https://appshunter.io/ios/topics/piano-note-finder) · [piano notes identifier](https://appshunter.io/ios/topics/piano-notes-identifier) --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
