### 2/5 — Only treble for me

*2025-06-08, version 3.8*

I purchased the app to help brush up on learning bass notes but I can’t get the app to display the bass clef. Also it could be confusing for beginners to choose from only 7 letters for both high and low notes. The app will show a high C but the keyboard only has middle C to choose. Can I get a refunds please?

### 2/5 — Instructions would be helpful

*2024-04-12, version 3.8*

The title says it all

### 3/5 — Good tool for a start

*2024-02-17, version 3.8*

Would like to see more ledger lines in both clefs

### 5/5 — When you are wrong, the app will keep going back to reinforce correction

*2021-09-09, version 3.7*

This is helpful to me. Other apps just randomly move on. ‘’It takes 15 times to make something a habit”

### 5/5 — Perfect

*2021-07-04, version 3.7*

This app is just pure perfection. Couldn’t have asked for anything more. It’s simple and it works!

### 5/5 — Perfect for an old man

*2020-12-28, version 3.7*

Just what I needed to learn the basics.

### 3/5 — Whe is it only one octave on the screen but more octaves in the notes ?

*2020-10-18, version 3.7*

I think it’ll mess up students who is learning how to read and apply it to the piano

### 3/5 — Learn notes!

*2020-04-20, version 3.7*

Good for learning but is kinda boring kids will not enjoy it unless they are really wanting to learn how to read notes

### 4/5 — Great app

*2020-02-07, version 3.7*

I love that I can customize which notes to review.

### 2/5 — Music notes

*2019-11-11, version 3.7*

I’m disappointed with this app bc of the changes that was made from the previous app. The other app had a limit to the times before there was a score%. This is never ending and I can’t use it at my school or my music studio bc the kids need a reward or a frowning face for their efforts. The previous app was so great bc I could do team playing as well as individual scores and the band director where my kids went from my school complimented me for the learning of the notes I taught so he didn’t have to. I don’t like this app for the above reasons.

### 5/5 — Matt

*2019-11-04, version 3.7*

### 5/5 — The perfect note memory app

### 2/5 — Start From beginning

You give notes, but what are the notes. First you should teach the notes, and then you should quizzed the notes.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Settings Stuck

*2024-09-02, version 3.8*

I just purchased this app and when I press settings there is no way to close the screen. I have to close app and then open.
If there is no way to get out of settings without closing the app I’m getting a refund.

### 1/5 — Not Working

*2024-05-07*

Using iPad and I go to second page and the screen is too big then impossible to get out of that screen! Stuck! Is there support or instructions for how to use?

### 1/5 — Not worth $3. Should be a free App

*2024-01-22, version 3.8*

This is a very simple app. There are no interesting learning techniques. It does very little. Don’t pay for it.

### 1/5 — Can’t play bass clef?

*2021-08-22, version 3.7*

This won’t let me play bass clef, why not?

### 1/5 — Very weak

*2018-07-07, version 3.7*

This is just too simple to be of any value, and I’m not sure it’s even working as expected, because I’m not sure what the intention of this app even is

### 1/5 — Not satisfactory

*2018-03-06, version 3.7*

The notes on a piano go from a to g and for some reason there is an h on the app

### 1/5 — Very poor

*2016-10-01, version 3.0*

In my entire app purchasing history I have never had a more useless app, all it does is play the note your tap on screen. Don't waste your money. I want my money back

### 1/5 — Does not teach correct octaves.

*2016-08-04, version 3.0*

I downloaded this, hoping to recommend it to my piano students. It makes no differentiation between middle C, Treble C or middle C and Bass C. Does not accurately teach these notes.

### 1/5 — Why

*2016-01-24, version 3.0*

Why no sharps or flats? Also there is no bass clef. A total waste of $. We can fly to the moon but app developers can't even make a decent app.

### 1/5 — Horrible App (Useless)

*2015-09-16, version 3.0*

I found this app to be useless and disappointing! Don't waste your money!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — ***********^^^

*2026-06-16, version 3.8*

Really good to play with as a beginner

### 5/5 — Best App by far

*2025-08-23, version 3.8*

I tried all similar Apps (even expensive paid ones) and this one is by far the best. It even connects to MIDI.

### 5/5 — Both apps are excellent

*2025-02-13, version 3.8*

I use both of these apps with many of my piano students. Simple to use, love the bigger keyboard in the red app and has lots of options to make it work for many students. Thanks!

### 5/5 — Yay

*2025-02-12, version 3.8*

I just loved this app I can’t explain why that how good it is.👍🏻🥹

### 5/5 — Best for beginners

*2024-11-28*

I downloaded all apps regarding learning notes, this is best one..I’ve since deleted all others

### 5/5 — Well Done!!!!😃

*2024-03-12, version 3.8*

### 5/5 — Perfect

*2023-07-10, version 3.7*

This app was exactly what I was looking for to help my kids learn the notes.

### 5/5 — 初めの一歩

*2023-02-04*

ピアノど素人。鍵盤の位置、指使いの練習から出来良いです。

### 5/5 — Learning Notes

*2022-12-07, version 3.7*

Helps me learn the piano and helps me read music notes

### 5/5 — Great flashcard type learning tool

*2021-12-27, version 3.7*

It lets you practice your memory against a labeled and unlabeled keyboard. Wyou can ban notes you've memorized or aren't ready for. The inly thing I would add is a config to disable animations, but it's still faster than paging through flashcards and way more fun and interactive!
