## What is NoteX?

Notex is a local-first home for notes that stay yours. Every workspace is a folder of ordinary Markdown files, so your writing remains readable by other editors, command-line tools, Git, and AI tools.

CAPTURE AND WRITE
• Create quick memos and full pages
• Format headings, lists, tasks, quotes, code, tables, and callouts
• Add images, audio, and file attachments
• Use backlinks, search, favorites, tags, icons, and covers
• Recover deleted pages from Trash

ORGANIZE YOUR WAY
• Build deeply nested pages and folders
• Turn folders into structured databases
• Add text, number, select, multi-select, date, checkbox, and URL properties
• Switch between table, board, list, and calendar views
• Sort, filter, group, and show only the properties you need

PLAN IN A CALENDAR
See dated notes and database records in a clear monthly calendar. Edit event details without leaving your workspace and keep your plan connected to the notes behind it.

LOCAL-FIRST SYNC
Start with a workspace on your device. Use iCloud Drive to keep Markdown files available across Apple devices, or connect securely to a NoteX workspace you operate. There is no developer account required to write local notes.

VOICE AND FILE FREEDOM
Dictate with Apple speech recognition, or optionally configure your own Doubao credentials. Because the source stays in Markdown, you can browse, back up, version, or edit it outside Notex whenever you want.

Notex Pro unlocks calendar and sync features. Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled; a one-time lifetime option may also be available. Prices are shown in the app before purchase.
