## What is Noti?

This is the official companion smartphone app for use with the Noti-Fish Technologies ice-fishing devices - Either the Dinger V2.0 or Dinger V3.0.

### 1.2.6 — 2026-01-20

Custom notifications sounds have been added. This feature can be accessed and customized without needing a device to connect to.

### 1.2.5 — 2025-12-02

This version contains the latest feature added to the system: the double click feature. This feature is very simple but will prove very useful for anglers. Now, when the button on a Noti-Fish Dinger V3.0 is pressed, the app (if open and connected to the network) will will show a pulsing highlight animation to let users know which device they have just double clicked the button on. This will be extremely useful for anglers when setting up a tip-up with Noti-Fish - and it is desired to set a location for or rename the device the user is handling. Now, device identification is made easier and users can more quickly access the settings for a particular device.

### 1.2.4 — 2025-11-08

The version has a few key updates: 
A crucial bug was found and fixed having to do with the devices visible switch. Finally, we have found what was causing the refresh button to sometimes not work.
We have added the much needed update to the procedure when a new device joins the network. Now the smartphone will send out a reminder to the network to match the whole network's advertising state when a new device joins. For clarity, now, when a new device is added, the blue advertising light should quickly turn off once it has joined the network that is not collectively advertising.
Noti-Fish logos have been added to the scan and device screens.

A few bug fixes dealing with channel selection for devices, and handling all of the various names and Mac addresses a device could have

### 1.2.2 — 2025-02-22

This version is faster at the process of taking role call, and allows for another layer of network redundancy when nodes are left out of a role call sequence ( they are given another chance to formally join and register themselves with other nodes)
