### 1/5 — Does It Do Anything?

I set up a page to watch thinking that I could move off of using Visualping. I set up a URL that I want to watch and left the app to do what it is supposed to do. I received a notification from Visualping that there was an update. This app? I checked and even manually initiated a refresh and was told there was no update. Next, I saw the update that I could create groups so I tried that. I created the group on one device and opened the other to join. There’s an option to scan a QR code but no QR code to scan. So I copy the token and paste it on the other device. All good? I’m not sure because no group is visible on either device but if I try to join again I am told that device #2 is already a member of the group on device #1. I suspect I am doing something wrong and (thankfully) the app is free but it appears to require more advanced skills than what I have because it looks to me like it doesn’t do anything.

Update: can’t delete old notifications leading to a cluttered unorganized interface but I love the visuals and the ease of use. Anybody trying to send notification from their site to users devices this is it. You can monitor RSS feeds and all this is a true power user app if you know how to use it!! Please keep the update coming add quick reply to notifications allowing users to trigger webhooks or send responses like a messaging system

Overall this is a great app. But the longest duration that you can schedule a check is daily. How about once a week or a little more flexibility?

If you want custom notifications. This is the one, and it works with shortcuts. What more can I say.  I only wish there was a way I could add custom response endpoint so I can respond to notifications and trigger events.

Love the visuals and the ease of use. Anybody trying to send notification from their site to users devices this is it. Solved a problem in such an easy and simple and affordable way I didn’t know was possible. I no longer have to obsessively check websites for changes, but I don’t have to pay a fortune for a web service to do it for me either. Simple, local, fast. Incredibly happy to have found this app.

This app literally saved me money. Notify keeps me updated on price drops and stock availability without me having to constantly check. Quick and easy and free.  Great Support as well!
