The basic free service has limited use. You can pay extra for useful added features. But after 2 weeks, the bridge disconnects itself randomly and for no reason. I tried to remove and re-added it, but it disconnected again after couple hours. For no reason, and it cannot reconnect by itself. Very frustrating to use. Please fix it if you want us to use it! Also all of the help pages go to a page saying this help centre no longer exists…very helpful! ### 3/5 — Needs better options for notifications *2024-07-22* Low battery notification trips several weeks to a month before the battery runs out. Please provide an option for “critical” or “almost empty” battery — when the little battery meter shows empty but the sensor is still online. Or if the sensor drops offline entirely. The current “low battery” level is wasteful so i have those notifications disabled. ### 1/5 — Is company still in business? *2024-06-05* I think this company is no longer in business. App and sensors no longer working properly, not connecting or monitoring activity. Get no response to the support tickets I submitted, get a delivery error when I try to email the company, no one answers customer service phone line when I call. I previously purchased two magnets for our sensors but never received them and never got a response to the several inquiries I sent. Easy to install, only maintenance is to replace the batteries when you get a notification. Other than that… I forget it’s there but give me peace of mind that I’ll get suerte when needed. At the beginning I was disappointed that I couldn’t add more than 2 tasks per sensor. Now that has improved but you can’t combine all types of sensors together. The one con, is that I would like to still get notifications when my phone is on sleep mode and certain notifications I’d probably would like to set as loud and persistent if I don’t want to miss it something is going on. There may be a way to set up my iPhone for this but I haven’t checked. Overall, I’m happy and I keep adding more sensors to my home. ### 4/5 — Great functionality but needs small improvements *2023-09-08, version 23.08.02* I like this app. I used it all the time to check the temperature and I liked that it pushes notifications on door open and close. What’s annoying is; - it constantly logging me out. Probably every few days. And it doesn’t remember my username or password. I had to manually enter again and again! - the loading page takes too long. Would be nice to keep it nice and quick ### 1/5 — Terrible Service and Support *2023-08-18* I moved into a new home with an existing Notion installation. The company was unable to discontinue service for the previous homeowner and transfer devices to my account. Our new home had multiple home automation devices from Ring, Honeywell, Moen, and others. Notion was the ONLY company that would not disable access from the previous homeowners and transfer ownership to me. Avoid this company and product at all costs. They need figure out how to be a home automation provider and work in reality. This is a major privacy issue. ### 2/5 — Glitchy *2023-07-28, version 23.06.01* After many attempts it finally found my wifi but after adding wifi password it kept saying “error” Eventually after nearly an hour of trying the wifi finally connected but of course adding the sensors was just as difficult, the QR code on the sensors wouldn’t work, took forever before i finally got them all added. I nearly threw the whole thing in the bin, glad I didn’t pay for this, I don’t have any confidence that the sensors will even do their job…. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Pain to reconfigure. Lots of false alarm *2026-04-27* Sensors don’t work most of the time and it’s a pain to reset and setup everything every time. One sensor stoped working in a few months and the rest are pretty much useless with lots of false alarms everyday that must be resynced to work again. ### 1/5 — Wasteful Review *2025-08-23* My motion sensor 3rd Gen won’t work as expected, it won’t connect my wifi that is using 2.4G hertz, and everything is a mess. There is no point for my insurance to send me a motion sensor, what a waste.👎👎👎👎👎👎 ### 1/5 — Shipping Address Not Valid *2025-01-20* Your sensor is giving off false readings and it needs a free magnetic message every two minutes all night, I’m so tired from these continuous messages. The app directs you to an online store, and then promptly rejects an Australian address with”Shipping not available . Your order cannot be shipped to the selected address. Review your address to ensure it's correct and try again, or select a different address”. The massage even occurs when the website auto populates your home address as you type, indicating that the entered address is correct; however, sending to Australia seems to be not achievable with this company.
