## What is Notto?

Notto is a clean, performance-focused notebook for people who want to capture ideas quickly without turning note taking into a heavy workflow.

Create local-first pages, write with a focused block editor, add headings, checklists, bullets, and dividers, sketch with your finger or stylus, and attach voice notes in one calm workspace. Notto is built around speed: notes open quickly, basic writing stays simple, and offline use does not require an account.

Free includes the core note-taking experience: typed notes, block editing, checklists, bullets, handwriting, basic voice recording, offline access, organization, and search.

Notto Pro is a one-time upgrade for higher voice limits, advanced PDF and Markdown export, larger media workflows, themes/covers/templates, advanced organization, and local zip backup/restore.

Main features:
- Local-first pages for fast offline capture
- Block editor with headings, paragraphs, checklists, bullets, and dividers
- Handwriting blocks with pen, eraser, colors, undo, redo, paper styles, and resizable canvas
- Voice note blocks with real local recording and playback
- Search across titles, tags, and text
- Favorites, pinned notes, recents, tags, archive, trash, and subpage organization
- Markdown export and PDF export
- Local zip backup and restore
- Light and dark appearance

Notto does not include cloud sync, voice-to-text, OCR, AI summary, or AI action item features in this MVP.
