## What is Notturno Sleep?

Wear your Apple Watch and go to sleep. When you wake up, Notturno is already there, without you touching anything: how long you slept, how well, and how much you have in the tank today.

THE NIGHT LANDSCAPE
Your sleep stages drawn across time: the lower the band, the deeper the sleep. Awakenings are physiological — everyone has them, especially between one cycle and the next — and orange shows when they happened. Drag your finger across it and read what was happening at any hour.

THE NIGHT SCORE
0 to 100, built on four factors — duration, regularity, efficiency, architecture — weighted on the scientific literature rather than on a hunch. Tap the number and see exactly what drove it, factor by factor, with your own figures alongside. And if it changes after you have already been told, the app says so, and says why.

RECOVERY
A second index that looks forward instead of back: how much you have in the tank today. It brings together your recent nights, how far your heart rate drops while you sleep, how much your heart rate variability rises, and how much sleep you owe. Inside it is your real regularity too, measured the way the research measures it: not the average of your bedtimes, but how much your days resemble each other.
You don't need a new Watch: Recovery is built from your heartbeat and its variability while you sleep — sensors your Apple Watch already has, whatever the model.

LINKS YOU WOULDN'T SPOT
Nineteen rules look through your data for the things the eye misses: the workout too close to bedtime that stretches how long you take to fall asleep, the more active day that brings more deep sleep, the vital sign outside your usual range, the run of nights you went to bed on time, your personal best. They speak only when they have something to say, and each one shows its reasoning with your own numbers in front of you.

ON YOUR WRIST, AT A GLANCE
The Apple Watch app stands on its own: your night, the seven-day trend and the morning check-in. Widgets and complications bring the score to your Lock Screen, your watch face and your Home Screen.

WHEN THE WATCH RECORDED NOTHING
You can enter the night by hand and the app processes it like any other. Where data is missing it writes "—" and tells you why, instead of inventing a number.

FREE, AND THEN THERE IS LIFETIME
The nights are free forever: score, stages, vitals, Trends, Recovery, the Watch app, widgets and the morning report. Notturno Lifetime — one purchase, never a subscription — opens the Insights tab and the breakdown behind Recovery. Seven days to try it, and everything Notturno learns meanwhile is waiting for you: nothing is lost and nothing is deleted.

THE PROMISES
• No account and no server: your data never leaves the device.
• No advertising, ever.
• No subscriptions.
• No limit on how far back your data goes.
• Your data is not held hostage: it stays in Health and it stays readable.

In Italian, English, German, French, Spanish and Japanese — the whole app, notifications and insights included.

Notturno estimates from Apple Watch sensors. It is not a medical device, it makes no diagnoses and it does not replace the judgement of a healthcare professional.

Requires an iPhone on iOS 17 and an Apple Watch Series 4 or later on watchOS 10, with sleep tracking turned on and a Sleep Schedule set on iPhone (Health › Sleep). You do it once: the Sleep Focus doesn’t need to turn on every night.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.0.1 — 2026-10-07

• Heart rate and HRV outside your usual range now always reach you in the morning, even when overnight recovery drops too. It's the sign of a heavy evening, and before it sometimes stayed only on screen.
• If Health has no nights yet, the Night screen tells you what to turn on for Apple Watch and where, with a button that opens Health.
• If Notturno isn't allowed to read Health, the Night screen says so and explains step by step how to grant it. In Profile, the permission status now reads in one word, in red when something is missing.
• The diagnostics you attach when writing to support now include your Apple Watch model and watchOS version, so a problem is found sooner.
• The evening reminder no longer repeats the same sentence every night, plus a few text touch-ups.

### 1.0 — 2026-10-02
