## What is Nouba?

Nouba is an Arabic shift-work calendar made for employees in Kuwait and the Gulf.

See your shift at a glance
- A colored monthly calendar: morning (blue), afternoon (orange), night (black) and day off (white).
- A countdown that shows your next shift and how much time is left in your current one.
- Pick your pattern: 4 on / 2 off, 5 on / 2 off, a 3-shift cycle, or a custom pattern where you set the number of days for each shift.
- Choose the start date of your schedule yourself.
- Official holidays are shown on the calendar.

Prayer times and qibla
- Prayer times for the Gulf city you choose (Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, UAE, Oman).
- A heads-up when a prayer time falls during your shift, so you can plan ahead.
- Prayer alerts before or at the time, using the standard iPhone notification sound.
- A qibla compass that points to Mecca automatically and moves with your phone.

Your leave and hours
- Log annual, sick and other leave, and track your remaining balance.
- Record check-in and check-out times and calculate actual hours and overtime.
- Track your monthly permission hours.
- Add a note to any day.
- Share the month's schedule with anyone.

A comfortable design
- A fully Arabic, right-to-left interface.
- Light and dark modes, switching automatically with your phone.

Your data stays on your phone
- Your schedule, leave and notes are saved on your device. No account or sign-in needed.
- Location is used only to work out prayer times and qibla.
