### 5/5 — I didn’t think an app could affect me this way

*2025-02-26, version 1.6.5*

It checks in on me. It’s nice to see a reminder and have it sound like someone that wants you to be the best you can be. Yes family & friends are great supports but if you can’t put yourself first then who will you know? Nourishly does just that and the rest is very intuitive. I love that it gives you the rules laid out but it doesn’t take away from the freedom the user has when utilizing the app. I’ve been recommending it to everyone!

### 5/5 — Amazing app

*2025-02-01, version 1.6.5*

This app is amazing. I can log my meals by description or photo. It asks questions about how I feel about food choices and hunger levels. It includes meditations and places to log thoughts. It is a very well designed app as well as beneficial.

### 5/5 — Great for Healing Food Relationship

*2024-11-20, version 1.6.5*

This app is great to take pressure off from counting calories for those of us with food issues. The affirmations and rewards are motivating. It’s simple and easy to use.

### 5/5 — Great App!

*2024-09-05, version 1.6.4*

I love this app because it gives me accountability! It really motivates me to be intentional about be the best version of me!

### 5/5 — helpful tracking with prompts to observe my own behaviors

*2024-06-20, version 1.6.4*

so interesting to stop & track patterns. what / when I eat and don’t, and how I compensate.

### 5/5 — Excellent encouragers

*2024-06-05, version 1.6.4*

My dietitian is excellent. She supplies me with information and new recipes. She is an excellent encourager when I am discouraged. This is a great app and system. Highly recommend to my best friends.

### 5/5 — Really good but can’t get data

*2024-04-23, version 1.6.3*

Love that this is free text and I can add in urge to binge and feelings.

However, I have (on 3 separate days) tried to get my data but when I click on the link it says “invalid or expired link. Please request a new data request.” Very frustrated by this

### 5/5 — Finally a nutrition focused app that’s not about calories

*2023-12-13, version 1.6.1*

I have always in some way or another had issues with not enough enough, due to intentional restriction, purging with exercise, or just general disinterest in food, but after starting a new degree and starting a triathlon training plan, I knew I needed to practice more mindfulness around eating.

This app does the trick! I can keep track of how I’m feeling throughout the day and after workouts, and actively change my habits. No calories to count! No “earning” snacks or treats. Just compassion for your self and your body. It’s doing a hard job!! It also integrates with your therapist so you’ve got someone else to hold you accountable.

Other than some functionality issues (the user interface is pretty wacky and unintuitive), this app is perfect. I love taking a picture to log my meals. It picks the most important things and does them well.

If you struggle with disordered eating, want to focus on your nutrition, or just generally be more mindful about your eating habits, this is the app for you!

### 5/5 — No stress tracking

*2023-11-06, version 1.5.9*

Great way to track a lot of areas of your health without adding stress to your life. I like that it doesn’t focus on calories…for me that’s a big stressor.

### 5/5 — Very easy

*2023-10-16, version 1.5.7*

Very easy app to use and be able to track what i am eating. Plus keeping track of my daily water intake!!!!

### 5/5 — Fantastic Medical Grade

*2023-08-28, version 1.5.4*

Best app I’ve used in years. Take pictures, open text boxes so you aren’t forced to put in exactly what is suggested. Connects to multiple doctors. HIPPA secure.

### 5/5 — Helps me remember to eat

*2023-07-19, version 1.5.3*

I have struggles with eating.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Poor editing ability.

*2025-01-15, version 1.6.5*

App inserts incorrect meal times which can't be changed. Allows cloning meals (great) but these cannot be edited to add or remove items, requiring to retype entire meals to make one change.

### 1/5 — Read the legal very carefully!

*2023-11-14, version 1.6.1*

My clinician recommended using this but after reading the full Ts&Cs I deleted the app. You are held solely responsible for any losses they incur from your log in account so if your credentials are hacked by a third party and used maliciously with the app they could sue you for any losses they incur. Also, they share your data with unspecified vendors and suppliers! No thanks

### 1/5 — Cannot type

*2023-07-29*

I downloaded this app today on the recommendation of my dietitian but I cannot type anything into it. The keyboard doesn’t load on any page. Very frustrating.

### 2/5 — “Dark Mode”

*2025-06-25, version 1.6.5*

Half the screen is blindingly white in “dark mode.” Can’t comment on how the rest of the app is. Hurt my eyes so I deleted it.

### 2/5 — Horrible, non intuitive design

*2023-07-22, version 1.5.4*

One of the worst designed apps I’ve ever used. It seems like it was made by clinicians who have never used a phone vs actual app designers. Basic tasks become infuriating. Pass

### 3/5 — Anemia - great reminders to eat!

*2023-07-21, version 1.5.4*

Sends notifications to my phone, AND watch , reminding me to eat.

ADHD/Bipolar/anemia , I forget to eat, and often don’t feel hunger even after skipping a whole day.

You can see other people’s posts, they are trying too, just like you!

### 3/5 — Love app but fix bugs

*2023-04-24, version 1.5.3*

I love the app but I’m struggling to use it cause it keeps closing on me when I go back from logging feelings

### 4/5 — Perfect for My Needs

*2026-04-12, version 1.6.5*

This app encourages me to eat regularly and suggests meal ideas but doesn’t shame anything I eat. I’ve tried so many meal tracking apps that “grade” my meals and push weight loss (which I do not need). It’s discouraging and makes it difficult to make food choices. I really appreciate the ad-free experience that genuinely offers support!

### 4/5 — Easy to use app eliminates tedious logging

*2024-05-08, version 1.6.3*

We have been working with our excellent nutritionist to try to improve our eating habits and choices of food. Nourishly makes it really easy to keep track of what you eat. If I don’t write down what I eat immediately, I often forget what and when I ate. With Nourishly, you can take a photo of your meal with your phone (which will give you a date stamp—picked up by the app when you upload the photo later—a handy feature). You can also take a photo right in the app.

The information we log is shared with our nutritionist through the app. She reviews the logs, assesses how well we are eating, and gives us periodic feedback. This partnership has increased our awareness of what we are eating and helped us make progress towards incorporating recommendations made by our nutritionist.

### 4/5 — Helpful

*2020-04-19, version 1.2.1*

Recommend if you struggle with emotional eating and want to get better

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — New to the app

*2026-08-08, version 1.7.3*

I am still learning all of the features but I really like the way it tracks feelings and thoughts about food.

### 5/5 — Keeping me stay focused

*2026-06-15, version 1.7.3*

Nourishly has been good to help me stay more focused on helping me eat enough and to try to stay focused on what I am eating. I haven’t always been the best about taking pictures, but I definitely try.

### 5/5 — Patient

*2026-03-18, version 1.6.5*

It’s Better than I thought.

### 5/5 — Pleasantly Surprised

*2025-12-30, version 1.6.5*

I’m only 3 days in, but I am hopeful that this app could actually help me with my binge eating disorder. I’m using it in conjunction with therapy, and it’s fantastic so far. Recommend!

### 5/5 — It’s Great!

*2025-11-12, version 1.6.5*

I want to follow a Nourishly diet forever!
I love this app!

### 5/5 — A wonderful App

*2025-08-04, version 1.6.5*

My nutritionist is having me use this app and I absolutely love it! It’s a great way to log your food without feeling bad about what you ate by seeing the long list of foods at the end of the week—Even if you don’t have a nutritionist or doctor seeing your results it helps you see how much you do/don’t eat in a day! Its amazing what our bodies need but we don’t give to them—always take care of your body and listen to what it’s telling you, always advocate for yourself❤️

### 5/5 — Fabulous App!

*2025-06-12, version 1.6.5*

I’m really enjoying this app. I love all the menu choices it has available, and the way that it helps you think about what, how, and when you’re eating. It’s very easy to use. Highly recommended.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2025-05-27, version 1.6.5*

Keeps me accountable about the quality of food and drinks I’m nourishing my body with

### 5/5 — Underrated

*2025-05-08, version 1.6.5*

This app is free for patients and has extra features that are all free. I like this app. It could be more modern though.

### 5/5 — First Time Nourishly User

*2025-03-07, version 1.6.5*

At my first ever session with my dietitian we set up the Nourishly app together and it is so easy and fun to use… love all the options and the affirmations as well… helps me be more mindful of my eating habits and health.
