Retrieving historical data is difficult. The issue for me is that the only “sleep” data that is pushed to Apple Health is the HRV readings. Sleep and O2 data are only visible in the Nova App. ### 1/5 — Can’t even receive verification email *2025-05-19* I can’t even get into the app’s features because it’s not sending me the verification email. So now I’m stuck with a product I can’t even use ### 1/5 — Great Concept, Poor Execution *2025-01-16* I was excited to try the Nova Smart Crystal Sapphire AI Smart Ring, but after weeks of use, I’m extremely disappointed with how the product and support are handled. 1. Firmware Updates: Despite a “beta upgrade” option in the app, it doesn’t work. My current firmware version (MOY-I163-1.1.2) hasn’t received updates, and there’s no guidance on whether updates are even planned. The FAQs and Customer Support sections are completely useless for technical support. 2. Support Issues: The “Contact Us” section lists the address of a Delaware registered agent, not an actual company office. This feels shady and impersonal. Their website has typos like “Return and Exchange POLIVY,” which screams lack of attention to detail. 3. New Product Focus: Instead of supporting current users, Nova is rolling out new products like the Nova X and Nova Pay. That’s fine, but at least update existing users on whether their rings will continue to be supported. 4. The App: It’s clunky, uninformative, and doesn’t reflect the polished experience you’d expect from a high-tech wearable. With only 9 ratings so far, I’m sure more users will report similar issues as time goes on. Final Thoughts: The concept of the ring is great, but the execution leaves a lot to be desired. No clear firmware updates, poor customer support, and sloppy attention to detail make this product feel like an afterthought, not a premium piece of tech. Until Nova proves they can support their users and products, I can’t recommend this ring. ### 1/5 — Worked great at first *2024-11-27* I received my ring about a month ago. I started wearing my ring maybe 2 weeks ago, and loved it! Then yesterday, it quit charging. I’ve tried different charging cables, different wall plugs, nothing works. The app might work fine, but the ring doesn’t. ### 5/5 — AWESOME SUPPORT *2024-11-09* EDIT: support finally got back to me and once conversation had initiated responses were quick they agreed that my issue was valid under kickstarter warranty and have sent out a replacement. I absolutely love this ring. I think it’s fantastic super insightful however not only 1. Was the size incorrect in regards to the sizer they sent out but 2. After having it for three weeks now the lights are flashing all the time on my finger and on the charger and it dies in six hours. ### 1/5 — Ugh, I wish *2024-11-08, version 1.2.4* Mine says I sleep for 14-15 hours a day. It seems to combine two days worth. Charging the ring is hit and miss too. So sensitive. No idea how to contact anyone as they customer service tab is just frequently asked questions ### 3/5 — Okay *2024-10-24* So far the app has been….okay. 2.5/5. Cons: One of the main parts I use it for is tracking exercise, but for some reason the 100 different exercise options are listed at random; not alphabetically or by type lol…and you can’t select some to favourite or move to the top? Extremely difficult to use in that respect. It’s also already disconnected while working out so it just didn’t count any of it which was a bummer. The “gesture control” is insanely inconvenient. The singular thing it can do is take pictures….if you shake your hand violently (so hopefully your hand isn’t in the picture LOL). And it only works through the app??? It doesn’t work with your normal camera. So to take a picture you go app>account>gesturephotocapture>shake hand vigorously. Pros: Love the sleep tracking, step counter, menstrual tracking, and meditation walk throughs. They’re great. I love data, and this has a great breakdown of everything. ### 3/5 — Worked well at first, but stopped working. *2024-06-03* The ring seems to be communicating fitness data to the Nova app correctly, but unfortunately that Nova app is not sending all of that information to Apple Health. It used to work perfectly, but now I seem to be missing about half of my steps daily - they’re tracked in the Nova App, but nowhere to be found in Apple Health. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t track steps unless you hold your phone *2024-04-05* Not satisfied ### 2/5 — Good but needs work *2024-01-16, version 1.1.3* Auto update features are missing and limited apple health sync support.
