In my opinion as an Operations Manager, Novagems has been one of the most problematic scheduling and operations platforms we have worked with. We have consistently experienced duplicated schedules, missing information, unexplained system changes, and significant data inconsistencies that have cost substantial time and money to correct. These ongoing issues have also created reputational harm with both employees and clients.

Additionally, communication and support surrounding these issues have been extremely unprofessional and unreliable. Whether the problems stem from data center failures, staffing changes, or internal operational deficiencies, the end result remains the same: a scheduling platform that negatively impacts operations, accountability, and client confidence.

Clients have repeatedly voiced complaints regarding scheduling errors, lack of reliability, and operational confusion directly tied to the platform. Unfortunately, there appears to be little accountability, no meaningful compensation for outages or failures, and no clear resolution process for recurring issues.

For companies operating in high-liability industries where scheduling accuracy and accountability are critical, these deficiencies can create serious operational and reputational consequences.

I rarely leave reviews, but this one is earned—and not in a good way.

We switched to Novagems expecting a modern, reliable platform to manage scheduling, tracking, and operations. On the surface, the app looks polished, but the actual performance doesn’t match the appearance.

The biggest issue is reliability. Core features like clock in/out, scheduling, and tracking are inconsistent and sometimes fail altogether. That’s not a minor inconvenience—those are mission-critical functions. When they don’t work, it creates payroll issues, confusion in the field, and extra administrative work to fix mistakes manually.

The mobile app itself is also frustrating to use in real-world conditions. Delays, glitches, and lack of responsiveness make it difficult for staff to rely on it during active shifts.

Support hasn’t helped much either. Slow responses and incomplete resolutions make it hard to trust that problems will actually get fixed.

Overall, this app looks good but doesn’t perform where it matters. For any company that depends on accuracy, accountability, and real-time operations, this is not a dependable solution.
