## What is NOVELAN App?

Control your heat pump and/or your ventilation unit with the NOVELAN App conveniently and free of charge from home via smartphone or tablet per app. NOVELAN explains the various possibilities and helps you to make the right decision for an optimal indoor climate.

The NOVELAN App enables the comfort control and monitoring of your NOVELAN heat pump with WPR-Net 2.0/2.1 controller and/or your NOVELAN ventilation unit ZG375 Eco. Heat pump and ventilation unit can be registered and operated independently of each other. 

Function overview heat pump control:
• Displays the status of your heat pump on the start screen 
• Displays the operating hours
• Displays all relevant temperatures 
• Remote control of the most important functions
• Simple setting of the time switch functions
• Displays the data log
• Reading the error memory
• Setting the desired hot water temperature

In the home network, the above-mentioned functions are already enabled and fully usable in your heat pump. If you also have a heatpump24 account, all functions can also be used online, that means outside of the home network.

Function overview ventilation unit control:
• Switching the ventilation system on and off
• Selection of ventilation stages 1-4
• Selection mode: manual, automatic (with sensor), maximum and weekly program
• Information on the setting of the supply air volume flows in ventilation stages 1,2 and 3

After registering the ventilation unit using the serial number and your email address, the app can be used free of charge. 

Condition:
You have a heat pump with the WPR-Net 2.0/2.1 controller and this is connected to your home network via network cable and/or a ventilation unit ZG375 Eco.

Die App reagiert seit Wochen nicht mehr. Sie Verbindung zur Wärmepumpe wird angezeigt und dann hängt sich die App auf.

Leider sind die App Funktionen so rudimentär, dass man echt überlegen muss Novelan weiter zu empfehlen!!! Nur ein Bruchteil der Einstellmöglichkeiten der Zentraleinheit werden unterstützt. Für fast jede Änderung muss man über Zentraleinheit durchführen
Auch der Informationsgehalt des Datenloggers ist so bescheiden, dass man ihn sich eigentlich auch sparen kann! Für so eine große Investition hätte ich mir mehr erwartet.  Vor allem wenn man sieht, was bei anderen Anbietern möglich ist!

Vor genau einem Jahr wurde mir vom Vertreter erklärt, dass eine neue App kommt. Nichts ist geschehen. Diese App ist für Endverbraucher nicht nur unverständlich, sie ist auch was das Bedienen aus der Ferne betrifft unbrauchbar. Lediglich über einen Login bei heatpump24 lässt sich die Anlage „bedienen“. Dies geschieht jedoch nur zeitverzögert - ein wirklich aktueller Status lässt sich nicht einsehen. Traurig! AIT / Novelan nie wieder.

Es gibt nicht viele Werte, die man über die App einstellen kann.
Die vorherigen Warteschleifen waren bei mir im Netzwerk aufgrund der gleichen IP Adresse, die die Wärmepumpe und ein anderes Gerät hatten . Nachdem ich der Wärmepumpe eine neue IP Adresse gegeben hab, funktioniert auch wieder die Einstellung über die App.

Der Zugriff von unterwegs ist nicht möglich, da die App nur im zugewiesenen IP Adressen Bereich sucht. Wenn man aber unterwegs ist und sich per VPN Zuhause einwählt ist man per Definition in einem anderen IP Bereich und die App findet die Wärmepumpe nicht.

Bitte per Update nachreichen, dass auch eine manuelle IP Adresseingabe der Wärmepumpe möglich ist. 

Aktuell bleibt nur der umständliche Workaround, einmal zuhause die App zu öffnen und nicht zu schließen, denn dann prüft die App nicht mehr automatisch nach einer neuen IP und der Zugriff via VPN funktioniert. Nachteil: Stürzt die App ab, dann hat man Pech gehabt

Diese App ist vollkommen unzuverlässig und sinnlos.
Relevante Daten (z.B. Temp.) werden erst nach mehreren Stunden aktualisiert. Das Umschalten der Betriebsarten funktioniert selten und gibt kein Feedback. Dann zeigt die App z.B. „Automatik“ an und die WP steht auf „Aus“ obwohl die Onlineverbindung besteht.

Es fehlen weitere Parameter in der Anzeige:
- Heizleistung
- Heissgastemperatur
- Softwareversion für WPR Net Regler, Anzeige und Hinweis für Neue Version
- Wärmepumpe läuft seit…
- Wärmepumpe steht seit…

Es fehlen weitere Funktionen/ Einstellmöglichkeiten:
- Softwareaktualisierung des WPR Net Regler
- aktuelle mobile Fernsteuerung/ Zugriff über die App (analog wie Cloud Zugriff) auf die Wärmepumpe von überall aus ohne Zeitverzug zum Einsehen der Daten und zur Bedienung/ Einstellung der Wärmepumpe….und das natürlich kostenlos, es ist ja eh nur eine mobile Fernbedienung

Selbst in der lokalen Benutzung der App zeigt diese mir an, dass die Wärmepumpe gerade im Heizmodus läuft. 
Doch aktuell läuft die Wärmepumpe gar nicht…?

Diese App ist somit nicht brauchbar, es fehlt dringend ein großes Update um all die ganzen Bugs zu beheben und diese App endlich mal funktioneller und innovativer zu gestalten. 

 So wie jetzt nützt es niemanden etwas…das geht auf alle Fälle besser !

Sinnlos, denn die Wärmepumpe wird nur gefunden, solange man sich im lokalen Netz befindet. Eine Steuerung von unterwegs ist somit unmöglich. Völlig sinnfreie App. Keine DynDNS oder VPN Unterstützung. Navigation und Design unterirdisch. Ein Stern ist noch zu viel.
