First this is a amazing app I use it a lot when I’m bored or just want to make a story. The only thing I would ask for is a graphic novel picture maker to make drawings and pictures for each chapter to turn it into a graphic novel book and you could choose the style of the art that the Ai generates. Otherwise a great app and looking forward to future updates!

Hi, I love the app, but I have a new feature idea. Can we possibly have as an option a Screenplay feature where we generate Screenplays for movies?

I love the app but I recently run out of coins the app said I pose to  have a daily  coins but that didn’t happen I don’t want pay for the coins can you give me coins because I run out of coins

Edit 7/14/2023: I appreciate that you read and take people’s responses to account. Most of your features are easy to access and I can use most of them with a tap of a button. All that dragging stuff might need to be changed though because of accessibility stuff, but either way, thanks.

Ignoring the weirdly creative title for this review, I gotta say, your app is amazing. It’s useful for when I’m on writers block and I’m too lazy to write the entire story myself, the accessibility and ease of navigation with a screen reader is beyond what I expected, and I gotta say, the buttons are labeled in a creative way. However I do wish that I could delete stories that I no longer want to work on. I’m not just talking about deleting chapters, but rather deleting an entire story. Even better, maybe it can warn you about you deleting the story in case people accidentally click the button. Something creative like, “Wait a second. You’re about to delete your entire story. Are you sure you wanna do this?” or something like that. Overall I’d give this a solid 4.5. Don’t let the 4 star rating fool you, but if I could I’d rate this at a 4.5. Anyways I’ve probably wrote three paragraphs worth of text. Take this wall of text as you will, but please consider my suggestion. If not, that’s fine too.

EDIT AS OF JULY 12, 2023: I just wanted to say thank you so much for adding in an editing feature; that is so generous! It is MUCH more user friendly now that I can make adjustments with the ai-generated chapters and now about all of my issues have cleared up. I have changed my review rating from 4 stars to 5 stars! I am very excited for the updates to come!

ORIGINAL: This app is definitely a hidden gem; I’d say it’s probably one of the best free AI writers on the App Store! The stories the AI generates are usually of quality. I find it unique that there’s a choice for you to use multiple choice (or ai generated prompts), not only is that fun, but it provides a few choices for me if I have writer’s block or feel stuck at a certain point in the narrative. The mechanic to make a separate story from the same exact universe (the story branches) are also a fun feature and expands / adds depth to the universe. 

 Here’s my suggestion: I think it would be a great idea if you could allow the users to edit the chapter content after the AI finishes generating (this is more directed at the option to make our own prompt for the AI to use, not the multiple choice). My main reason (and I’d say my main complaint about this app) for this is because sometimes the AI will add in certain details that I did not include / mention in the prompt before it generates a chapter. For instance, if I end the prompt with something like “this character then goes to sleep,” the AI will include (although there are cases where it doesn’t even add what I said in the prompt AT ALL, although these prompts are often long so maybe that’s where the issue is) the detail in the chapter, but a lot of times it doesn’t end the chapter that way and even adds stuff in that I NEVER mentioned in the prompt. It’s blatant that I can just rewrite the chapter with the same exact prompt, but even then the AI occasionally goes a bit haywire and adds in its own details. That to me is irritating and is a waste of coins. If you could give the choice for users to edit the contents after the AI finished generating, not only does that save coins (those tend to run out quickly even when not using the GPT-4 option which takes a whopping 30 coins per chapter), but it also allows the user to have more free reign with the story without the AI needlessly having lots of control as to where the narrative goes. Basically, me and other users would likely heavily benefit from the option to edit chapters so we can have more creative capabilities, remove mistakes the AI made, save coins, and overall increase the excitement and improve the experience with the app. I am totally aware that this app is in its infancy so obviously there’s not feature like this, but if an editing feature is added in, I will immediately change my rating from 4 stars to 5 stars (5 stars is quite rare from me) and will gladly recommend this app to others. 

 If you’re not the developer(s), then I highly recommend downloading this app and use this to generate stories out of all the other AI writer apps because this one is certainly the easiest to use along with having the most free features. Coins aren’t also too much an issue and buying more is actually pretty cheap and is a great deal (500 coins for $2.99 is an insane deal to me if you really like this app). Overall, it’s a fun app that certainly is unique compared to other AI writers. I just hope an editing feature is added in!

I like this app but there’s one problem I wrote the type of book where it’s clearly for adults, not in the way where certain activities happen in the book but in a way where hard topics such as mental health problems, and other things I can’t write those books because the AI says they’re for all ages or they have to be which is annoying. Very annoying and I just want to write my book so this app would be great if it would allow you to at least turn the for all ages settings off.

I love this app so much but I wish that when you delete a chapter in a story that you get a refunded because when I delete a chapter because it called my dog bellies or it called the cat pig every time that happened I kept losing coins and now I am down to 40 coin’s I really wish we could get refunded

My first suggestion is that before starting your novel you should be able to write a small blurb about what the story is going to be about so that the ai can more understand how you want your story to go, and my other suggestion is that after you write your final chapter you have the option to write a sequel, and the ai will have the knowledge of what happened in the first novel to write another one connected to the first. But overall, this is genuinely my favorite ai writing app!

But there is one problem, now, I am trying to make the first chapter of a new novel, but it was saying something went wrong, so I went to a spot with better Wi-Fi, but still, the same error message was popping up, I tried restarting the app, still, nothing, could you fix this?

For now, you can put some general information about the story into the first chapter and that should help guide the AI, but obviously it's not ideal due to limited space.

What’s with this update? When I make it write me a chapter it only writes a sentence. Before it wrote chapters now it doesn’t anymore. Can you guys fix this? It’s taking my coins.

It writes the stories but then it messes them up or doesn’t do what you write and it changes it into something completely different and it takes my coins when it messes it up. You guys need to change that where it doesn’t take our coins because I don’t like wasting money on something not worth my time. Also it says it can’t generate my stories when it’s something as simple as a word! You guys should fix this or just delete the whole app👍🏻

Hello I’ve been using the app for about year now and I’ve had a blast with it and it’s been generally a really great experience but recently I have a problem where I give the Ai a prompt and the chapter it gives me is extremely short or almost seems cut off and I don’t believe it has to do with me giving bad prompts or anything but it’s a great app I’m just really concerned about the recent problem I’ve just mentioned.

So I just downloaded it yesterday and me being me I was making a romance story so when I was a chapter 14 I was like mk I think bows a good spot for romance but it says “unable to make this” which kind of upset me because I think stories are plain with out the cherry on top(the thrill) and me being myself again being to scared or shy to share it with anyone no one would be able to read it, so in short I would think it would be a nice idea to make a button that turns off safety so people can make their stories how they want

I’m enjoying this app so far. I’m finding it to enhance my creativity. It’s always exciting to see what the app comes up with from my chapter descriptions. What I don’t like is the app adding to my plot. I frequently find I need to delete a lot of the generated content because the app is trying to predict storyline, that I don’t intend to tell until several chapters down the road. I live the app for thé flavor it adds to my plot. I don’t like the app trying to add plot that completely changes the story I have in mind. Are there any settings to prevent that?

As you know, sometimes language models like the one we use seem to have a mind of their own. It might help to describe what you want to happen in detail, or to indicate the chapter ending in the last sentence of your description, like "The chapter ends when Frank parks the car in front of headquarters.".

This app is great and I love how I can write stories on it but I’m have a problem with the coins. I can’t always pay for more when I want and I do like that I have the option. I also like that I can get more the next day but I would suggest that you should be able to get more every day. Except for getting 5 a day when you run out; add on to the ones you didn’t use. For example: if you have 5 one day you can get 5 more added on the next day, so expect for having 5 everyday day until you use them you have 10. 5 coins would be added on each day to the non-used coins. It would also help if there was a countdown to when the coins would come or a daily time of when you receive the coins. It would make this app more exciting.

**Developer response:** Quick update - we adjusted our daily coin grant a little bit, so that you get 5 a day up to 10. They won't build up forever, but at least you can get the 5 coin grant for 2 days without needing to use the app every single day.

So, I love this app, but I have one problem with it. You get a lot of coins at the beginning, but when you run out, you have to either spend money to get more coins, or wait an entire day to get more coins. So, I thought of a solution. Ad revenue. Just add an area in the shop where you can watch an ad for like 1 coin, so impatient people like can just get more coins for free. This would be amazing if it was added, and it could help the owners of Novelizer with the glory of ad revenue or in simpler terms, money. Please add this, and thank you for reading this review.

Pretty cool. I had a similar project written in html and JS, but this one has a very nice UI for the phones. I only wish it would be a bit cheaper for GPT4 (do they use the Turbo model?) and there should be some adult mode, where the output would not look that much censored (yes, you still can instruct GPT to be a bit more uncensored).

If you like creating characters but still want to be surprised by a twist in a story, this is the app. The price for tokens after the original ones are gone is reasonable. The story can be fun and detailed or make it a game with friends. Make a story for your child where they rule a kingdom or need help writing a chapter or getting out of a writing funk, this is the app. 10/10

Second, make everything be read to you with 11 labs voices
Third make sure to do a Mardi Gras sale every year
I’m fourth nothing should cost money!
But overall, it’s really good app! I’m just telling you what you should do to get rid of the pet peeve that people have

It’s a great app, but here’s what you should do, instead of having it cost, one coin to make a chapter, you should give them coins for writing chapters, at least 20 per chapter, that should be the minimum of coins you give them or else you’re gonna lose your customers

I love the app and I have written like twenty five stories but I am running out of coins fast and bye fast I mean like light speed fast and need icons to continue with my writing so could you pleas add something like you can complete achievements or watch adds to get coins
