I was reading a story and it asked me to use coins to proceed further. So me being stupid paid £4.99 to buy more coins which gave me 500 coins. Then i carried on reading and it popped up again. Please buy more coins to read further. But i’ve just bought 500 coins so i should be able to unlock it as i have enough coins. Each time you have to unlock is 150 coins. So where have the rest of my 350 coins gone. I’m not gonna spend my hard earned money on some bs I can get for free at my local library. That’s why I did a yearly subscription… But since June the audio has not worked on any of the books and there have not been any new books added even if you go to the new selection tab I have updated the app. I have uninstalled reinstalled. I’ve sent emails through the app and I cannot get a resolution at all… For those of us that have paid and are avid short story readers an open line of communication if there’s an issue with the app and an offer of ‘until we get it fixed, we’re not gonna hold however long against you’ because like I said this has been ongoing since June and we’re now in August… ### 1/5 — Disappointed *2026-08-01, version 1.4.1* Every time I try to read a book, I am unable to finish it. When you’re finally close to get enough coin to read the rest of the story it’s going to let you read more stories for 15 minutes to 60 minutes. Honestly I want to give it zero stars.
