It says you only pay a few cents per week for the first month, but they are not upfront about the standard weekly fee. Before the developers come on here and say that there is a weekly subscription, is is $15 a WEEK, which they are not upfront about and is WAY too much for a subscription. Which is why they hide it. Shame on this app. Don’t download it. I lost a lot before realizing this mistake. ### 1/5 — Not happy *2024-10-22* I downloaded the app after reading a free chapter on Facebook then find out that you can’t watch ads for more chapters. I will be deleting now. ### 1/5 — Not Free! *2024-10-12* This is completely false advertising. It is not free after reading six chapters. You have to pay if you want to read the rest of the book. The book seems interesting, but I don’t wanna pay for something after reading a few chapters and find out that it was not worth my money. I canceled it before the renewal was supposed to happen so I don’t understand why they keep charging me. I was lured from a fb post and paid 29c for a weeks access, then I was charged $22.99 on day 7 which was fine as it appears like it gives you a months access, I was ok with that at the time because I liked a book I was reading. I then cancelled it in the App Store because I did not want to pay anymore than that however, 2 days after I was charged another $46!!!! So I've paid $70 for two weeks access to this stupid low quality app. How can the justify $23 per week or $130 for the year???? It's made to be misleading and rip people off. Why is that?! ### 1/5 — Deceptive *2024-09-03* Lured by a Facebook ad and was told the cost would be for 0.29 for the first week and 29.99 every week thereafter. When cancelled less than 24 hours later it advised that the subscription would continue until the end of the month (it was the 2nd day of the month) and I would be charged the full 29.99 per week until that time. Deceptive and disgraceful to mislead people like that. But does it finish? Are there other books, is it a Series? Would be really nice to let you know it’s a Series or that it’s just NOT FINISHED BEING WRITTEN!! I use Kindle & occasionally I find an App like this & get into the stories, even though I believe it was originally written in another language & BADLY translated into English, & read some decent stories about Shifters & Romance. What is going on? I’m really upset!! There’s nothing I dislike more than NOT being able to finish a STORY! Is there more? Chapters written & added weekly or WHAT??? They are also very short. It took forever to find the menu page. The $ is more than a book with more pages and less issues. I finally found the cancellation option only to find out that although they charge per week they will be reviewing my “application” to cancel and will let me know in 30 days and during that time I will be charged and not have access. So I will be paying for nothing. Very very shady. I took a screenshot of the process so I can show my bank that they aren’t letting me cancel. Absolutely do not recommend. Other better apps for this. It’s like you spend more time watching ads and forking over money you DONT want to- to read half a book! It’s refreshing to have an app where you can pay a low amount for an entire week! There are no incentives and reading rewards at all like most other apps. ### 2/5 — Love the books hate the price *2024-10-07, version 10.8.38* The books are great and I like that there is no need to watch adds or acquire coins to be able to read chapters. I am the type of reader that if I get sucked into books I read through them quick. The app was able to let me read all of the book without having to wait till daily coins or adds were watched. (There are a lot of books that are still in the process of releasing chapters every now and then which is frustrating) BUT the price of paying $14.99 a week 😒 that is more money each month than even a Netflix membership!!! I unfortunately can’t spend $60 a month to pay for a subscription for reading. Loved the concept but you need to drop the price even $4.99 a week would be more enticing to the customers. ### 2/5 — Deceptive and costly *2024-07-24* Originally drawn in by a Facebook ad, the app and the books on it are good- However it is very very expensive for what it is.. The only options to keep reading are to purchase ‘VIP’ through a ‘special offer’ which states 0.29c per week, or 129.99 a year. Once you pay for the 0.29c a week it only THEN tells you that is the price for ONE week and then it goes UP to $29.99 a WEEK after that, unless you cancel 24hrs prior to subscription renewal. These are the only options to read books and given time constraints, I only get to read one book a week, which isn’t worth $29.99 Nothing is written anywhere explaining the 0.29 is for one week only until after you pay, where it then tells you 29.99 a week afterwards. Very deceptive marketing style that will trap some people without noticing.
