I downloaded the app and could not find the Parking listing. It was not in any logical place. After I got a parking ticket I contacted the Dimos and they told me where it was. I am an experienced App user, if I can’t find where it is hidden, how would the little old man find it. It should be posted on their signs because I’m sure that is how they make their money. ### 1/5 — Bad UX *2026-05-13* Takes 15 minutes to go through set up and pay for parking. Thank you very much. ### 5/5 — Useful for communal tenement repairs *2024-05-10, version 4.50.0* I used this to organise a repair between 8 owners in my building. I was the only one to use the app but I found it super helpful to keep everything together and organised. It produced out some easy documentation to send to owners not using the app. The Helpdesk team were extremely helpful with info and helping with any issues needed. I would definitely use this again for any additional repairs in the building! ### 5/5 — Shared tenement, uncooperative tenant, novoville was a lifesaver *2024-04-26, version 4.50.0* Shared tenement between a few owners, one who refused any engagement, we reached out to the council who recommended we use this app for a shared bank account. Impeccable customer service, everything went through quickly and works were completed much faster than anticipated. Would honestly recommend them to anyone! 10/10 ### 1/5 — Great idea, but mostly useless in practice for my situation, for one fundamental reason *2024-01-22, version 4.09.0* Update: I’m trying very hard to get other owners to sign up for the app so we can use it to help manage urgent tenement repairs, but most owners aren’t receiving the email invites that are sent from the app, and the other way to invite them a “share a general invite link” does nothing when I select the button. Seriously folks, you need to get this working. I tried to use this app to facilitate repairs in my tenement block, but in practice it’s really a total pain. The problem is that it relies on other owners voluntarily signing up, but in my case only 1 other owner out of 16 has signed up. So it’s really not going to work. To be clear, it is technically possible to use the app even if the majority of owners have not signed up, but in practice (at least for me), it means significantly more administrative burden than I had before and it becomes more error-prone to extract the necessary documents from the app on my phone and then add them as attachments to individual emails fourteen times for every communication regarding a repair. Organising communal repairs in my Edinburgh tenement is a nightmare and – while it clearly helps some owners – in its current form this app actually increases the effort involved (again, this is for my situation, but surely the app should be geared to helping those who find tenement repairs difficult). This app seems to be Edinburgh council’s answer to help out the tenement blocks that are having trouble getting repairs done – but if it only functions well for blocks where most owners sign up for the app, then you’re not helping the tenements where the help is needed most. To fix this, the app cannot rely on owners voluntarily signing up. I need to be able to enter the owners’ contact details and have it email them repair information, quotes and so on without them signing up. I really need help with tenement repairs, but this app does not provide the help I need. I provided this feedback to the developers when I first tried to use the app around two years ago. They told me at the time it was a great idea and that they would put this feature in the app – and the response to my (now updated) review states that it’s on their roadmap, but given the amount of time that has passed I lack faith it will happen. I would love to be proven wrong and will happily use the app and update my review if and when the feature is added to the app. ### 5/5 — Making common repairs easier to organise *2021-09-28, version 3.12.3* Started using this and it’s great. But what is even better is the support you get from the help desk. Issues being resolved, extra guidance where needed and willing to take on board suggestions for amendments/improvements.
