I’d been wanting an app like this for a while and here it is. I love the ability to actually see my pressing colors as well as chat and interact with other vinyl and physical music collectors. Music is my favorite way to meet and connect with people and NowSpinning absolutely delivers that.

I buy a fair amount of music off discogs, like the idea of importing my library digitally. App is still a bit glitchy. Some spins don’t log to the community page and the “Shazam” technology periodically freezes. Some aspects of the app don’t fully function. Hoping this gets dialed in, worth the monthly subscription? Yes when they eventually work out all the kinks… music is life!

• The prompt to consolidate repeated plays now appears after deleting a single spin from your timeline.
• The Activity map and list now appear immediately instead of briefly showing a blank screen.

This update fixes a bug where audio recognition could stop working after another app played sound — a video, a reel, a voice note. Recognition now recovers on its own as soon as the other audio stops, with no need to restart the app.
