## What is Nowts?

TAKE YOUR VOICE NOTES OUT OF THE CLOUD

Nowts is a free, private note-taking app that turns speech into clean, editable text. Dictation runs 100% offline, so your voice never leaves your iPhone. Native iOS interface, real checklists, and optional AI that runs on your own OpenAI key.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED, NOTHING YOU DON'T

• Dictate in 25 languages with automatic language detection
• Format with headings, bold and italic
• Change text case
• Create checklists, bulleted and numbered lists
• Reorder items in a list
• Pin and rename notes
• Copy a whole note, or paste into one, in a single tap
• Import Markdown files and export notes as .md
• Auto-delete notes on a schedule, or keep them on device forever
• Edit with optional AI tools

BRING YOUR OWN KEY

AI runs on your own OpenAI API key, so you decide what gets sent and when. Nowts does not receive, store, proxy, or log your AI requests.

• Check grammar and fix typos
• Improve and simplify
• Translate and adjust tone
• Summarize and shorten
