Truly loved the ambience and the services specially its 24/7 availability allows me to care my fitness without compromising my random always changing work schedule. But i deadly want to give a suggestion if it is considered. I think if the swimming pool would be added as additional facility for 24/7 it would be addictive love. So many pieces of equipment theres rarely a need to wait. The staff are helpful and friendly. A good atmosphere with all different ages attending. The sessions they offer (in a group) are varied, though more recently when working its becoming more difficult to get a space. Scanning back out after scanning in or vice versa is unreliable unless app is force closed (swiped up) and relaunched. 2. When scanning in successfully the audio ‘ding’ uses media volume and pauses music or whatever is playing - please change this to use alerts/ringer volume so that it’s silent when phone is on silent and doesnt pause anything!! 3. The checking location is very slow, surely this could be optimised or even a default location set (with option then to choose if you want it to change). I don’t see why this 6-10s loading needs to happen each time. ### 5/5 — App *2025-02-07, version 1.4* It is very easy to use and quick ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Oi NRG we got a problem *2026-08-02, version 1.8* I installed this app a day ago and it worked as per usual and then I tried to go to the gym the next day with my pal I tried to tell me to login again and I do and now supposedly my password isn’t working and then tells me to reset my password and all of a sudden is not connected email I try to see if there is a problem on the website And lo and behold it works it still works. It seems to be a problem on the app. This is horrible and rubbish. ### 1/5 — Idiot *2026-05-09, version 1.8* Says it’ll send an email with a new password, it doesnt. ### 1/5 — Absolute rubbish app *2026-04-05, version 1.8* I’ve come to the gym 3 days in a row. One day I’ve been told that theirs tech issues and I can’t access the gym but I thought fair enough. Second time same thing. Third day after updating my app I was told I need to log in on my trusted device when I’ve used the same device all the time. ### 1/5 — Cant access the app *2026-03-22, version 1.8* No matter how many times I request a password reset or reach out to support for a link. It is impossible to login. App has serious technical issues around login and records of credentials. ### 1/5 — Not an LGBT friendly gym *2025-11-20, version 1.5* I had the worst experience of my life at NRG Lewisham by a very aggressive staff member who was allowed to throw homophobic and misogynistic insults at me with the full backing of management. Never again will I set foot in their gym again. I was a member for two years. Sort it out devs. ### 1/5 — Horrible connection *2025-03-20, version 1.4* I get to the gym at 5am and can only get access by scanning the code on the door through the app. Multiple times the app is down and there’s crowds outside the doors trying to do anything to get the apl working. Wasting half an hour in travel time then another half hour messing around with options and trying anything to get it to work. Waste of time. The app should give you a code incase it doesn’t work. ### 1/5 — Locks u out of the gym *2025-02-02, version 1.4* Despite paying for your membership, you get locked out and get told to speak to reception.
