## What is N.S.A.T.?

Neal's Sorta Accurate Timer (NSAT) is an application designed to help assist with attaining a time closest to the "perfect" time based on a target average speed over a predetermined rally race course. This is accomplished by utilizing a RaceBox GPS device to automatically start the timing based on a preselected time. The course name, distance and finish longitude / latitude are configured and saved in advance. The timer will automatically stop when the finish latitude and longitude are reached. Results of each rally course are stored in a log file. Typical events where this application is used include: Silver State Classic Challenge, NORC, Big Bend Open Road Rally and similar rallies. The app includes preconfigured courses for Nevada and Texas events, but you should always confirm finish line latitude and longitude since race officials may change these without notice. This app also supports "red flag restarts" for the Nevada events. You can also edit courses or even add your own courses for practice at legal speeds.
Please note that this app REQUIRES the use of a RaceBox Mini device and is not designed to work with GPS from any other manufacturers. I am not affiliated with RaceBox, but chose their device because it is my personal preference.
Understand that this is a FREE app and may not be perfect. I built this app as a way to give back to the open road race community that I love and to provide a reasonably simple solution for those who would like to try GPS timing.
Now, just have fun and be safe.
