## What is NSP Security?

NSP’s Mobile Access, using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) allows doors to be opened with a smartphone, potentially removing the need for a card or fob.
NSP’s Mobile Access securely issues, revokes the access rights you grant your users, and the access can be delegated across NSP range of RFID control readers throughout your accommodation facility or commercial premises in the same way a traditional Access Control System would be managed.
The NSP App will collect data from each Electronic Lockset that logs each ‘event’ from each door, which is transmitted from the User’s phone to the server – safely and securely updating the controlling PC in real time.
The NSP Mobile Access System is controlled by each user / Resident via the NSP Mobile App (Application) which is user friendly, intuitive, and can be incorporated in to an existing App if where required.

### 1/5 — Completely useless

*2026-07-11, version 3.5.11*

This app is trying to replace keys or key card access. Unfortunately, it is very badly designed and fails the vast majority of the time. In most cases it confuses the access point with a payment point and brings up your default payment option (at least on an iPhone). Even when it manages to recognise it as a keylock to be unlocked, it fails the vast majority of times. I have no use for this app and it is not worth the memory it occupies on the phone.
If your company or building have options other than this, take them. I cannot imagine how something can be worse than this.

### 1/5 — I’d give less than 1 star if I could

*2026-02-09, version 3.5.11*

Does not work

### 1/5 — Awful app

*2025-11-18, version 3.5.11*

Mobile phone not registered apparently at 4 AM when it was working fine previously

### 1/5 — Hopeless

*2025-11-15, version 3.5.11*

The number of times I’ve been locked out of rooms in my apartment block because the lock doesn’t show.

### 1/5 — terrible stupid app and stupid developer who don’t want to change it

*2025-09-07, version 3.5.11*

It always glitches, always logging you out, never gets the nearby door right, there is no customer service And They won’t take any advice or constructive criticism. Straight up stupid.

### 1/5 — Terrible!

*2025-07-12, version 3.5.11*

Hopeless app.

### 1/5 — Poorly designed, with no hopes of improvement

*2025-04-01, version 3.5.11*

This is an app that would have been considered poorly designed at the launch of the iPhone. I live in a bunch of flats that have this app as a key option. But because there are so many doors, when I open the app it’s quite difficult to find the one I want. This is a super easy fix., let me set favorite doors. The fact that this simple feature is not in the app, and the fact that the rating appears to have always hovered at 1 star tells me that the developer just doesn’t care about this app and is likely just a checkbox on their to do list every few months. Even adding shortcuts support to allow me to manually do this would make the app much more usable.

### 2/5 — Works… most of the time

*2025-03-20, version 3.5.11*

This app works most of the time. Have never been able to work out what the tap for NFC option is on iPhone. I’ve even emailed NSP but I have not received a response.

This app would greatly benefit from integration with either Apple home key or Siri Shortcuts.

### 3/5 — Lee

*2024-10-27, version 3.5.11*

I love the convenience of this app as a door card for my apartment block, but I really wish they’d add Apple Watch support.

It would be great to leave my wallet and door card at home, especially when I go for a run, which I do without my phone.

Being able to access my apartment and building entrance directly from my watch would save me the worry of losing my wallet or card while I’m running.

### 1/5 — Worst Possible Door System

*2024-09-16, version 3.5.11*

I can’t begin to describe how awful this app is. I’m moving out of my current apartment and noted the NSP system as a primary reason for leaving. Just comically bad.
