NT Hunting Mate Waterfowl hunting application for the NT Top End. This NT Government smartphone application helps hunters check when, where and how they can legally hunt waterfowl in the NT Top End. The free application features colour maps of all the hunting parks and reserves, waterfowl identification illustrations and information on permits, bag limits, season dates and permitted firearms and ammunition. You will also find lots of useful information on how to stay safe near our waterways and how to hunt in a safe and ethical way. This app periodically checks location even whilst closed. This is to notify you of hunting areas, exclusion zone and no access areas. The maps are basic and very little info as to tracks and surrounds. Given remoteness of the NT should include nearest services for assistance. Could be a great app but unfortunately it represents the NTG perfectly.....dysfunctional. ### 1/5 — Still no GPS *2018-10-12, version 1.4* Updated bag limits, still no GPS Location on app, select always on location settings ten go back in and it disappears, please rectify this issue immediately ### 3/5 — Keep app updated *2018-10-12, version 1.4* Bag limit should have been changed for 2018 before the season started. Well this was the best part until I upgraded to iOS11 now that GPS part doesn’t work.
