Had my nuband HR for about 3 years , it is still working fine, unfortunately the app is not. I’ve had trouble reconnecting to app after last battery recharge so deleted app and reinstalled. Now the app closes down after a few seconds and will not stay open. I’ve tried reinstalling a few times but the app will not stay open - rendering it useless.

Okay, so I’ve seen people complaining about the app... I don’t get it , it’s fine! I think your Nuband or phone is broken because my family members used nuband and it’s app and they were fine! They had different generation of iPhones ( eg iPhone 6 , iPhone X , iPhone 7). The watch is good for time , obviously, and steps and the app it (pretty) accurate. Now listen , THIS ISNT A FITNESS TRACKER FOR YOUR PHONE !!! It’s only an app for the watch .

I’ve had this for almost a year. It often doesn’t register data. It’s become worse over time watch loses sync all the time. Currently I’ve not been able to sync up with my phone for a while, software updates aren’t working. If this stays like this I’ll have to get a new watch, definitely won’t be buying a nuband.

this app is terrible, worked well for two weeks and now just doesn’t sync up at all. not a good way to record any data. 
the watch alone is good but the app is useless so if your goal is to keep a record, don’t bother. if all you need is a step counter with a watch and good battery life, the watch alone is a very good option. 
the app developers have made something so awful it’s like they’ve made it bad on purpose

This app has very rarely worked for me from the moment I purchased my Nuband and downloaded the app. Never updates my steps or sleep pattern even though I’ve refreshed it both ways, on the app and using the nuband device, apparently I’ve done 370 steps TOMORROW. So many faults and not enough perks.

76% of the time this is a good app , however at least twice a week even tho it shows that steps have been done on the graph they are not recorded below so don’t go forward to your weekly , monthly count which I find frustrating as surely that is the point of a fitness tracker ??

The app is ok for basic operation however I find that there are two main issues  

1. The Activity tab has really small cards and it’s virtually impossible to read them on an iPhone 7

2. There is a tab in settings to provide feedback but the area for your email address is limited to a certain number of characters and you can’t provide an email address unless it’s under the 10/11. character limit. I’ve read older reviews where this was reported in the review and a year on and no update.

Firstly the watch is a fantastic piece of kit that fits the bill for people that want a reasonably priced fitness tracker. In terms of the app, it is a well rounded and user-friendly. There may be issues with it over time but patience is the key. The sleep tracker does take a while to update from watch to app, which isn’t an issue for myself but may be to people who have a short attention span and want information at their fingertips in a nanosecond. It also doesn’t record a ‘cat nap’ which would be beneficial in a health sense but nevertheless it is very accurate. The monthly/weekly graphs for heart rate, sleep and fitness is a good touch to keep up to date with how active you have been and especially when comparing with other ‘nubanders’. 
All in all, for £50 hardware and a free piece of software it is by far completely worth the buy. Maybe in the future a feature where you can compare your stats with other members would be amazing but for now, well done!
