It helped with my ADHD to visualize my finances in the 3 rectangular stacked bars and I wish I had the option to access it. ### 4/5 — Super quick and convenient *2024-01-31, version 3.3.2* app is perfect for tracking every expense without needing to link bank accounts. I simply turn on notifications from my banking apps to notify me about every transaction, and whenever I swipe my card or do any other transaction I get a bank notification. Putting that info in this app takes seconds. Removed one star only because I don’t understand how the insights section works, I don’t see what budget it’s using for its calculations since I didn’t specify a budget ### 3/5 — Is the app abandoned? *2023-10-18, version 3.3* Not sure if the developer will see this. Super easy to input expenditures and income, and the simple charts and grouping are super intuitive and extremely useful for getting a sense of your finances at a glance. But recently, i’ve noticed a huge load of bugs, including not being able to delete expenses, and a whole lot of lag. Don’t get me wrong, this is one of the best finance trackers. Now, adding expenses, seeing them in history, it's all so laggy. Half the time I enter something it doesn't even show up anymore. It's a shame, this was once the best way to budget on iOS. Perhaps it can't handle a long history, many recurring expenses, or multiple tags. But the UI and animations lag extensively and without the budget tab, adding recurring expenses and income has become a chore. The old app was simple, exactly what people wanted. We got more animations and fewer features, and it's just not worth it to try to use it anymore. ### 1/5 — stuck on syncing with icloud screen *2024-01-31, version 3.3.2* yep. just as the title says. maybe i’m just too impatient but it just says it’s syncing with icloud? and it won’t let me get to the actual app lol ### 1/5 — App recently is very laggy *2023-10-26, version 3.3* There has not been an update for about 11 months and it shows. Really loved the app before and bought premium. Now no new updates. Result: app is very laggy and feels slow and unresponsive. I reached out to support to get these addressed last year, but never heard back. Hope it eventually gets back in shape, but in the meantime, I'd recommend finding something else; this app just doesn't reliably work. ### 1/5 — App does not work on Small Screens *2023-02-13, version 3.3* This app does not work on small screens, - even after 3.1.1 - namely the current iPhone SE running the current app version 3.3. The keypad to input transactions is clipped by the bottom tab bar preventing the most basic functionality of this app, tracking spending. Save your money if you have a smaller device. To the developer, please read below 3.1.1 did NOT solve this issue. It is the cause of this issue, and is still unresolved Prior to this version (3.1.1) the app was usable, but visually “janky” on the iPhone SE as the bottom row of the keypad (backspace, 0 and submit) buttons were only *partially* clipped but still interactable. After the 3.1.1 update, and in all subsequent versions (including the current 3.3 version), the bottom row of the keypad is completely obscured by the navigation tabs. I’ve sent 2 or 3 emails now to the developer email indicated in previous reviews, and it’s a bit frustrating to get back no response aside from “This was fixed in 3.1.1, email me”. I have, I cannot contact you and this app does not work for me and the small minority of users with smaller screen sizes. I’m not sure what else I can do beside leave a negative review as a cautionary tale. **Developer response:** Hi there, really sorry for the issue you were encountering. I believe this should be fixed in 3.1.1. And if you can instructions are very unclear. Frustrating to use. ### 1/5 — Budget Tab *2023-01-11, version 3.3* Please bring back the Budget Tab. It was my favorite part of the app. History tab does not do it justice. If you want to change the direction of the app, that’s fine. A small additional feature could improve the experience. If we could « fold » periods like weeks, months, etc. in the history page, it would be easier to find a specific expense a year ago. The insights section is interesting, but I would love to see some simple charts to understand better my spending. A future improvement that could be interesting is to have the budget for the day/week/month dynamically update based on how much you spent the previous days.
