NuEdit — Fast Multi-Tab Text & Code Viewer/Editor NuEdit is a lightweight, multi-tab text and code viewer/editor built for iPhone. With line-numbered code display, text encoding and line-ending conversion, and streaming support for files over 3MB, it makes viewing and lightly editing files fast and effortless. Key Features Line-Numbered Code View TextKit-based rendering displays accurate line numbers that stay correct regardless of line wrapping. Multi-Tab Management Create, open, and save files from the menu in the bottom right. Switch between tabs from the menu in the top left, and close the current tab from the top right. Encoding & Line-Ending Conversion Switch between UTF-8, UTF-16 (LE/BE), Shift_JIS, EUC-JP, ISO-2022-JP, and MacRoman, as well as LF, CRLF, and CR line endings. Files can also be reloaded using the selected encoding. Large File Support Files over roughly 3MB are loaded asynchronously in chunks and streamed in based on scroll position (view-only). Syntax Highlighting Lightweight highlighting for Swift, Objective-C, C, C++, Java, Kotlin, Go, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Ruby, Shell, HTML, and Markdown. Handy Navigation Jump to the beginning or end of a file, get prompted to save unsaved changes, and dismiss the keyboard with a tap. File Handling New files are created instantly as Untitled*.txt. The first save lets you choose a location via the Files app; subsequent saves overwrite the same location.
