Acerca de The Emily Center, Phoenix Children’s Hospital: 
Fundado en 1990, el centro lleva el nombre en honor de Emily Anderson. Emily luchó contra una rara forma de leucemia durante cuatro años luego de perder la batalla unos días antes de cumplir 17 años.

Frustrados por la falta de información fácil de entender, los padres fundaron The Emily Center para que las familias de niños enfermos siempre pudieran recibir información sobre la salud de los niños que fuera verdadera, fácil de entender y gratuita para las familias de Arizona.
