The Emily Center en Phoenix Children’s Hospital presenta Nuestro Camino y los huesos para que las familias con niños  con problemas en los huesos y que usan prótesis sepan identificar lo que necesitan saber antes de irse del hospital. Partes de esta aplicación podrían utilizarse en las consultas en la clínica y en la sala de emergencia.

Cuando los niños están en el hospital, los padres podrían sentirse confundidos al ver que médicos y enfermeros hablan con palabras técnicas difíciles. Fundado en 1990, el centro lleva el nombre en honor de Emily Anderson. Emily luchó contra una rara forma de leucemia durante cuatro años luego de perder su batalla unos días antes de cumplir 17 años.
