Very inefficient! ### 2/5 — App vs Web authentication *2023-04-16, version 23.04.01* Why doesn’t the same username and password work in the app when it works in the web browser. Fix please, these are basic needs for an App. ### 2/5 — So so frustrating *2023-03-28* This app is supposed to make it easier to submit info for our HRA acct., but once info is submitted, they don’t seem to acknowledge or review it and I keep getting messages that they have inadequate paperwork. Also,I’m constantly being told to submit an EOB for prescriptions but medications don’t have EOBs. I feel like it’s trying to keep us from using the money in the account. It feels like a part-time job trying to manage all the paperwork. Very very frustrating. Truly though, I don’t know if the issues are the fault of the app itself or NueSynergy. ### 2/5 — App no longer loads accounts *2022-05-04* Was fine until a few weeks ago. Now it won’t load the account screen, just says an unknown error occurred so I cannot see how much is in my accounts. All others tabs work fine. Logging in web browser I can see everything perfectly with no issues. The only problem is, is when you are looking at which account it doesn’t state what year on the app. Which means you have no idea which account for which year your receipts are posting. After April this is not a problem, but during the first quarter when you can’t distinguish between 2017 and 2018 it makes it very difficult ### 2/5 — Does it's job but doesn't work well *2017-08-10* The app allows you to do everything it's supposed to do with your account.. The app is unstable if you change apps or even let the auto lock come on. It logs you out and you have to sign in from start makes it very hard to do multiple things if you on the phone and looking up dates or numbers and have to change your phones screen just to glance at something it completely logs you out. Touch ID makes it faster to log in but why does it completely logs or disconnects you from the server when you change screens ### 3/5 — Nice *2017-06-21, version 5.0* App is good. Not 100% easy to understand when trying to apply for fsa refund. By kicking me out and losing my info because I checked in with a name already taken. Now it didn't tell me that after I signed in but it waited till my review was done to tell me that and then kick me out so I would have to do it all over again. Wow ### 1/5 — Functionality is a joke *2016-03-20, version 4.2* The app would be promising if it didn't constantly say that an unknown error occurred every time I try to sign in ### 3/5 — No TouchID support *2016-01-05, version 4.2* It is basically a mobile website app. Majorly disappointed that it doesn't support TouchID. Makes having a strong password a pain in the behind. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2015-03-25, version 3.0.6* This app is awful. After you have gone through the process of setting a claim up, it simply tells you that the server is busy and it cannot connect to upload your claim. That wasn't a waste of my time. Thanks. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Security needs work *2025-11-10, version 25.08.00* When putting in the security code, it automatically toggles back to the alphabet after each number instead of staying on the numbers. The security code only contains numbers. This is a huge nuisance. ### 1/5 — Not recommended *2025-05-02* I have to deal with my card being frozen by you guys because of denied payment transactions at least twice a year. This really needs to stop. I wish the State of Kansas would not contract with you guys again. ### 1/5 — No Feedback *2025-01-26* Although submissions are made for reimbursement, I do not see the amount reimbursed to my bank account. There is also no message sent to me when the reimbursement is approved. ### 1/5 — Can’t Use Other Apps *2024-11-03, version 24.08.00* This app sent me into a rage. You can’t leave the app open and return to the app without having to resign in and retype in the security code sent to your email. NOT user friendly. I understand they are trying to take extra security measures, but at least give us a few minutes until we have to sign in again. I will avoid using this app by any means necessary. Unfortunately, I’m stuck using NueSynergy. ### 1/5 — The photo feature is worthless *2024-05-20* The app is simple to use but do not expect to be able to upload photos of documentation. Adding a new receipt after a claim has been submitted is very broken. Adding a file from the files app does nothing. Adding an image from pictures insists on cropping the image for no reason I can fathom, cutting off details. It’s always says I have three new messages which are just nagware wanting me to perform additional setup steps, some of which are done and others I’m not going to do but there’s no way to revive these. This makes the new messages badge useless. It’s just sooooooo painful to use. ### 1/5 — Trash app *2022-05-13* This is the crappiest app ever. It is full of errors. You can’t see the amount in your account. It feels like a slap in the face as an employee of an employer who contracts with NueSynergy to manage our FSA. It’s managing my money but it’s just a headache to deal with. It shouldn’t be an added hassle to use my employer provided benefits but every time I have to do anything with NueSynergy it’s a big waste of my time. It feels like NueSynergy purposely makes things harder than it has to be so that they can keep our money.
