## What is Nugget 01?

Lil' Doc is a compressor effect based on the muscular, vinyl simulator in an early 00s workhorse sampler. It’s a powerful effect that’s found a cult following among lo-fi heads, and rightly so! We first implemented this compression algorithm for our paid plug-in Doctor Vibe, and the sound was so unique, we thought it would be a great first entry in our free plug-in series. Enjoy!

Works great with Koala Sampler for adding a little spice to beat making! Great for putting drums and samples through, and simple to control. Wish that the noise wasn’t present when the track isn’t playing, but hard to argue with free!
