### 1/5 — Yikes - they need help… badly

*2026-08-11*

App constantly crashes, UI is horrible, not user friendly at all.

ATM, when you open it, it just spins and then crashes. They could spend $50 and vibe code this. Logic makes no sense

### 1/5 — Now it won’t launch at all

*2026-08-09, version 1.0.52269*

App suddenly won’t launch at all. I open the app- it closes. DOA. Can’t access our system remotely at all any more. On an iPhone 15 Pro.
IOS 26.6. I see:

Bug fixes and improvements”

Is completely breaking the app an improvement?

I hated this app when it worked. I really wish this company would just revert back to the app that worked before forcing an unwelcome update.

### 1/5 — Unuseable

*2026-08-09, version 1.0.52269*

NuHeat created a new app and simultaneously disabled the old app that had worked perfectly. The new app is unusable. It’s not intuitive and doesn’t change the thermostat’s settings as it is intended to do.

### 1/5 — New version of app does not work at all

*2026-08-08, version 1.0.52269*

Could developer perhaps revert us back to old working version until the new version is properly tested and working!

### 1/5 — Awful

*2026-08-07*

The new app has awful readability and is a downgrade in design from the previous version which you are forced to abandon. It is extremely hard to read the current temperatures of each thermostat. I wish there was an option to return to the previous version. Why the need to change something that was beautifully designed and worked so well?

Here’s an update- now the App doesn’t work at all!!! It crashes as soon as it opens!!! Will there ever be a working app again from this company???

### 1/5 — IOS 16

*2026-07-31, version 1.0.51844*

Recent update now no longer works with iOS 16.

### 1/5 — Downgrade from previous app

*2026-07-31*

Extremely unusable and unintuitive app. First of all it doesn’t support Celsius so it doesn’t match what the thermostat shows. Secondly, setting permanent hold to an infinite setting is technically correct but not very intuitive. Please support the old app until this one improves.

### 1/5 — Sucks!

*2026-07-28, version 1.0.51844*

The new app is terrible! Very non intuitive ui. Please bring back the previous version!!

### 1/5 — Garbage

*2026-07-20*

If you’re considering floor thermostats go to a different company!!! Run!!!

The old now retired app worked. It was not intuitive but I was able to structure and control all 9 floor thermostats as needed.

This new app is a piece of useless garbage

I can’t change schedules

It’s not easy to reorganize thermostats

The zone control feature - in theory nice - doesn’t work properly

It’s so frustrating that I wish I could throw out all the installed thermostats and go to a different vendor

### 1/5 — Old app way better

*2026-07-19*

This new app is devoid of color. No way to set dark mode. It’s been simplified to a fault.

When setting a new temp, the progress temp above the number is tiny faint red. Older folks have trouble reading and this is impossible.

Where is the old “indefinitely” control as in old app?

When you change apps, ask a person who has vision problems to review it. Please update the app and make changes.

Honestly, you folks should admit a mistake and stop making more adjustments. Just return the old signature app and keep customers happy.

Thank you.

### 1/5 — Wanted to like

*2026-07-18*

Wanted to like the new version . I have used the previous Nuheat version for over 10 years. I had 3 zones and seven signature thermostats. Being forced to upgrade to this new conductor version I now suddenly have 53 new thermostats mixed in with my original seven in my thermostat list that I cannot remove. The zones also did not important to the new system. Don’t know if this version was beta tested, but it really doesn’t seem ready for use.

**Developer response:** Hi,
this does not seem right indeed. I would like to help you, but in order to do so, I would need to have some information about your thermostats and or your account. If you can share some details about at least one thermostats serial number, or the email used for your account creation, I can look into the specifics of your case and try to help resolve the issue. Please go to send an email to nuheatinfo@chemelex.com and ask to be put in contact with Patrick Hendrickx and I will try to help you.

### 1/5 — Awful Forced Update

*2026-07-17*

I'd give this app a 0 star if I could. Before the update yesterday, you had a good app minus the occasional server disconnect issues. Is nearly impossible to figure out the programming and it's now soooooo slow to accept commands. Please fix or give us our prior app back.

**Developer response:** Hi,
We have indeed been made aware of some bugs and stability issue causing the lag in responses from the app, we are fixing the back-end and are reviewing the app. We will try to publish an updated app within some days and are convinced that the performance will improve.
We really apologize for the bad experience you had with this release and hope you will be patient and enjoy the next release in a couple of days.

### 1/5 — The app update is a mess

*2026-07-15*

The old app worked fine. It was designed well for people with one or maybe two thermostats. The new app is a disaster. It’s somehow created 5 different schedules for my own floor. Which is in a zone and home and schedule which are all default. None of which can be deleted. Not sure if they can be edited. This is the worst app update I’ve ever come across. If I didn’t already have the thermostat i definitely wouldn’t buy it. And it’s bad enough that I can see replacing it if they don’t mitigate this disaster.

Why they decided to effectively throw out my existing schedule and create a whole new setting then hide it in 3 different places is beyond me. It’s trash. Dump it. Start over or bring the old app back.

### 1/5 — Disaster

*2026-07-14, version 1.0.51067*

Ruined the app with this version, what a DISASTER

### 1/5 — Bad for second home

*2026-07-13*

I have a vacation home with multiple heated floors. I went to check that the floors are off in the summer and suddenly the old app wouldn’t work anymore and forced me to install the new one. They said everything was “safely migrated” but one has to be in person to re-add the thermostats to this app. There wasn’t a warning that this app was going away that would have let me prepare the last time o was there, and now I cannot control my heated floors from afar and will literally have to travel to my second home again to reinstall. But of course, it doesn’t seem like I’ll be able to given how many bad reviews there are for install. This is insanely frustrating!

**Developer response:** Hi,
I am sorry for the inconvenience you are experiencing, we had some hiccups during the migration but our teams have been intensively working on solving all the issues. In principle, you do not need to be on site to relink the thermostats. If you are opening the new App and you do not see the devices in your new app, you can add them by going to the settings, clicking on manage thermostats and then adding them by pressing on the + sign at the top right. Select the thermostat type: Signature. On the next screen, you see that you need to setup the WiFi for your thermostat, this is true if it are new thermostats, but as yours are already on your WiFi network, you can just press on Next. You will see the thermostat list and will be able to add them.

### 1/5 — Why does the wall thermostat not match the app?

*2026-07-12*

I was forced to update to this new app. Now I cannot tell what I am setting the temperature at. The app keeps defaulting to 45 degrees - even after setting to a higher temp. The actual thermostat is not matching the app temperature setting…am I missing something??

**Developer response:** Hi,
No you are not missing anything, this is a bug. We are on to it and this should be resolved in a couple of days. We are immensely sorry for the inconvenience, and hope you can be patient for a couple of days before we get it back to work for you.
Patrick

### 1/5 — Not happy

*2026-07-11, version 1.0.51067*

What in the world did NuHeat do? They just took 100 steps backwards with this app. Extremely disappointing as I just installed another floor. They really need to get this straightened out.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Crashes

*2026-08-24*

App won’t open for me at all. It instantly crashes

### 1/5 — Won’t open, terrible “update”

*2026-08-24*

Had to update to this version by the developer. It now won’t open at all, so no remote monitoring if the product. Nothing wrong with the old version. GIVE US A CHOICE to go back.

### 1/5 — Needs improvement

*2026-08-21*

Update: now the App crashes immediately when opening. Cannot access any thermostats.
Original review: The previous app “Nuheat” was just above average but at least it worked, was intuitive. This app is well below average. I have 7 separate thermostats in our house but I am limited on the number of schedules that can be programmed. When you go to a thermostat, and select ‘schedule’ it tells me I need to delete one first…. I don’t understand how the app works. It’s not intuitive. Why did they go live with this app? Is it written using AI? I hope the programmers continue to improve the UI.

**Developer response:** Hi,
Thank you for your review, we have indeed noticed that when doing the migration of all the Nuheat thermostats some things were broken, we are still in the process of fixing these things in order to make the app working as expected.
In a couple of days, all things should be restored and working better.
Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.
Patrick

### 1/5 — Keeps crashing

*2026-08-20*

This latest release has somehow got even worse. It crashes every time I launch it so is completely useless.

### 1/5 — Fix when?

*2026-08-18*

You took a perfectly fine app and scrapped it for this non working version? The new UI is anything but intuitive or useful. The good news is that doesn’t even work now. The new version tries to load then stops yet it’s still running the background.

Just give us back the old version.

### 1/5 — Worse then the old app would give it - 10 if I could it’s that bad

*2026-08-18*

The new app is total garbage , it didn’t work great when first installed and now for the last two weeks just crashes , at least the old one worked consistently, have had these floors for 6 years and the other app wasn’t great but it worked and looked better…. seriously what does it cost to make a decent app for these floors, I know Nvent makes more than enough money for this to be done beyond not happy.

### 1/5 — Avoid buying thermostats

*2026-08-17*

App only crashes immediately upon launch. Can’t even get into the app to see the thermostats. Obviously no testing done by developers and they don’t care to get anything fixed quickly. Horrible decision by Nuheat to mitigate to app that wasn’t built for the thermostats they sell. I would avoid buying any Nuheat thermostat until they get serious about their app controls.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t Work

*2026-08-15*

Thermostats didn’t migrate from previous app as expected and won’t add to new one either.

UI is not intuitive. No cancel or edit options for many operations. Thermostats must be deleted and re-added if network password changes, which requires user to re-enter ALL info AT the thermostat…no way to edit individual fields in the app or thermostat.

Everything about this app is cumbersome. At least the previous app actually worked.

### 1/5 — Seriously?

*2026-08-13*

It’s no secret that the new version is a buggy mess, but now the app just crashes on opening. I can’t even get to the web portal to access the thermostat, as their certificates are expired. At this point the only option is to shut off the breaker because I don’t trust it to not decide to heat the floor 24/7. And Patrick? Don’t tell me to be patient while you fix the bugs. That’s not going to fly anymore.

### 1/5 — Ugh.

*2026-08-12*

More than 6 hours , 3 of them on the phone . diabolically useless.

## Most praised reviews (4 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Updates to app with the signature stats

*2026-08-19*

Everything works as expected. My last issue was due to user error. The responsiveness of customer service has been great!

**Developer response:** Hi,
I am glad it worked out for you. We appreciate your feedback.
Patrick

### 5/5 — Updates to app with the signature stats

*2026-07-21, version 1.0.51435*

This is a new review after posting my 1 star review. The app has been updated multiple times and I now have working functionality that I had with the signature stat app.

### 2/5 — Work in progress

*2026-07-10, version 1.0.50222*

Kudos to fast customer service, appreciate that; but the app still puts out crazy numbers (180 degree floor heat?) and tries to override existing thermostat program…..

### 2/5 — Needs improvement

*2026-07-09, version 1.0.51067*

The previous app “Nuheat” was just above average but at least it worked, was intuitive. This app is well below average.
