## What is nuID?

nuID is a simple and secure way to keep a certified copy of your identity document on your mobile phone. No more standing in queues at the police station, etc. to get a photocopy certified. With nuID you do it once and thereafter it is an accepted and trusted copy of your Identity document.

Whether you’re requested to present proof of identity or need to verify the identity of a customer, nuID makes it easy to share identity information without the risk of identity fraud.

nuID is a legally accepted certified copy of your actual document and will be accepted as proof of Identity in FICA or RICA processes.
